Happy Friday!
Hope you’re ready to have a blast this weekend, because we certainly are! Kate and Joanie are currently in Key West at a conference with one of our amazing clients… the rest of us are keeping up appearances in Philadelphia, wishing we, too, could experience those waterfront views!
There are so many incredible things happening in and around Philadelphia, it’s difficult for us to choose which to talk about on our blog and social media outlets. We decided to start a monthly link roundup so that our team can share some of our favorite internet findings from the last few weeks!

Have you heard of Philly’s newest and most powerful web series? “The Book of Nimrod” just launched on YouTube on Tuesday, and is described as a provocative drama whose story centers around our city’s marginalized Hispanic and African American communities. The series plays every two weeks on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. Follow the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #TBON!

I don’t know if my obsession with weddings has gone too far, but I’m obsessed with this couple that had their wedding during the blizzard on Saturday. They had so many cancellations and only some people ended up showing up, but they said they didn’t care. I wouldn’t care either if my pictures turned out the way theirs did. GORGEOUS! You have to check them out!

Maybe it’s because my parents forced me to try so many extra-curricular activities growing up, but I love the idea of out-of-the-box classes for adults in which participation is done purely for fun! The folks at Wooder Ice pulled together a roundup of places offering workshops that allow you to perfect your butchering, boating, and improv skills. This is a great idea for those looking for creative ways to spend their freetime in 2016!

I rarely wear make up and when I do, it’s just eyeliner and mascara. I recently added a red lip in there. I find this post very interesting and fun because the makeup tutorial is simple and easy. She doesn’t use many products and best of all it a natural look. Can’t go wrong!

I am obsessed with skincare. If I weren’t a writer, I would be an aesthetician. Jane Marie D’Amato is the best of the best, and her new skincare blog is really informative and chock full of secrets for warding off wrinkles. She also does a monthly series called Ask An Aesthetician where you can get FREE skincare advice!

I am a sucker for dog photos (my dog has his own Instagram account @masontheberner) but I think this is one of the funniest photo series I have ever seen!

I am constantly on Instagram and I am constantly hungry. Recently, I stumbled upon @PhiladelphiaFoodie on Instagram and it is glorious! Not only are the pictures of delicious food beautiful but they even tag the places so you can find them yourself!

How cool is this? The Wilma recently announced it will be undergoing a huuuge transformation to their venue on Broad Street. Changes will include a rebranding (new name: Wilma at Aurora), a permanent implementation of their HotHouse residency program, and the alteration of their private lobby into a public cafe.

Ahh yes, I can always go for a good stretch. I run often but I don’t always stretch pre- and post-run like I should. I always think, “I’ll just go to a yoga class and get myself straightened out,” but, yeah, that hasn’t happened yet. This post is good start!

During the winter, especially during recent snowmageddon, all I crave is warm comfort food to have while I snuggle up in a warm blanket. Luckily the snow is clearing up so I can venture out and find the best food and drinks to keep me warm this winter! My absolute favorite is Max Brenner’s when I’m craving a big cup of decadent hot cocoa, and we’ve heard awesome things about Terakawa Ramen in Chinatown – which is why I love Foursquare’s lists of places in the US to get the best hot chocolate and ramen soup, because what’s better than that on a cold day?
