Date nights can be hard when deciding what to do, especially when you run out of ideas. DINE-IN Movie theatre: A movie night is always a fun idea, but finding a movie theatre with a dine-in experience makes it even more of an experience! AMC DINE-IN Fashion District 8 on Market St. has a bar in the lobby, plus snacks, entrees, and more to choose from. Find a new movie coming out in theatres this weekend, and get your cocktail and popcorn ready!
BYOB Candle-Making Experience: Picking out a candle can be tricky when you can’t find the right scent to choose! However, Cork & Candles on Walnut St. allows you to create your OWN scented candle, and it’s BYOB! Make sure you have some time because the process takes about two hours. You pick two scents from a vast selection, then mix the scents and hot wax, and end by decorating your candle with fun crystals and more! It can be a fun activity to take part in with your partner, especially with Fall coming up!
Art Museum Friday Nights with Wine: If you love Art AND wine, The Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Social Friday Nights from 5:00–8:45 p.m. every Friday can be a fun activity to do with your partner. With this, you can enjoy locally sourced spirits and wines, live music, and of course, Art! You can also park in their garage for just $10 after 5:00 p.m. on Friday nights!
Pizza-making Night In: This goes for any signature dish that is your favorite, but you can’t go wrong with pizza. If you’re feeling a night in, find a fun recipe like this, and grab fresh dough from a South Philly market or a grocer like Trader Joe’s if you don’t want to make your own. Make sure to get any of your favorite toppings too! It can be a fun bonding experience with your partner, and why not add your favorite wine or cocktail into the mix while you’re at it?
Fun events happening in the area: New events are always happening in Philadelphia.
