There’s no better way to wind down at home than with a bowl of buttery popcorn, a cozy blanket, and a Halloween movie on your tv screens. With Halloween just weeks away here are Philly PR Girls favorite Halloween movies right now:
Kate : I love the Scream series because I had a client recently, Padraic Maroney, who wrote the book “ It All Began With A Scream” and reintroduced me to my love of the Halloween classic! There are so many great people that pop up in the movies and who doesn’t love Dewey and Gale Weathers together?!?
Shannon: I always watch Halloweentown because it’s such a classic and brings me back to my childhood and just makes me feel all the fall feels hehe. I also love Tim Burton movies like Corpse Bride because it’s also kind of spooky.
Andrianna: The Adams Family! I’m such a scaredy cat so I can’t do scary movies! BUT The Adams Family is the funniest! I used to watch it all the time as a kid and it’s still one of my favorites today! I also really like Disney’s The Haunted Mansion!
Brooke: Halloweentown series, Twitches series, Ghostly. Any Disney channel show that is Halloween themed!
Amanda : If you’re in the mood for something scary with a bit of gore then check out the I Spit on Your Grave series. You’ll be too creeped out to look at the screen but too intrigued to stop watching.
Marissa: My go-to Halloween movie is Hocus Pocus. Even though it isn’t necessarily scary, it’s my comfort movie. Can’t wait for Hocus Pocus 2 to premiere at the end of this month!
Liz: It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Coming from someone who isn’t the biggest fan of Halloween it is hard to pick one I genuinely enjoy but this one is my favorite because it’s something that my whole family can sit down and enjoy. Fills me with so much nostalgia.
