A Philly PR Girls Christmas: Favorite Holiday Movies

Chestnuts roasting, bells are jingling, and it’s beginning to look like… another Philly PR Girl holiday favorites blog. It’s officially Christmas season so here are Philly PR Girl’s favorite holiday movies to get you in the season.

Brooke: Snowglobe! I watched this movie for the first time with my mom in 2007 when it first came out! Now, we watch it every holiday season together! The movie brings me nostalgia and reminds me of my childhood.

Amanda: My favorite Christmas movie is hands down Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. It’s just so nostalgic. I used to watch it all the time with my brother and it probably has the best movie theme songs I’ve ever heard!

Colleen: My favorite holiday movie is The Year Without a Santa Claus. I really identify with Heat Miser.

Lina: If I’m going traditional I’d have to say The Muppet Christmas Carol because I watch it every year with my family and it reminds me of my childhood. As for new Christmas movies, Love Hard is a must watch. It’s one of the better Netflix original Christmas movies and will have the whole family laughing.

Shannon: A Charlie Brown Christmas, it’s a classic. You can’t beat that!

Juliette: Christmas with the Kranks because so it’s funny and makes me giggle.

Andrianna: I LOVE the classics like Christmas With The Kranks and The Santa Clause Trilogy! But I also love the newer movies on Netflix like The Princess Switch and The Christmas Chronicles! In fact, I just love all of the Christmas movies!

Liz: That’s hard, it’s probably Santa Clause. It’s the first Christmas movie I ever watched when I was kid so it just stuck with me and became a comfort movie.

Marissa: How the Grinch Stole Christmas! I watch it every year and it’s become a tradition. It doesn’t feel like Christmas if I haven’t watched it.

Let us know if any of your favorites are on this list! If not, let us know what yours is. Happy, happy holidays Philly!
