We hope you had an excellent 4th of July and are feeling refreshed after the three day weekend! This week is filled with tons of live concerts, comedy shows and even a fiesta!

July 5
- Race Street Pier is now offering free yoga classes! On Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays, instructors from Three Queens Yoga Studio will be leading socially-distant sessions. Race Street Pier is offering this until late September!
- July is the month of Bluegrass and Blueberries! For this month and this month only, Peddler’s Village is offering blueberry and BBQ-themed eats. Of course, there will be live Bluegrass music as well!
July 6
- Have you missed festivals as much as we have?! Well, good news: the Dope Shows Festival* is happening Tuesday at noon! Come down to the Mann Center for this special day-long event. The lineup includes PnB Rock, Pusha T, NBA Youngboy and Lil Durk.
- Concilio’s Hispanic Fiesta is happening at Penn’s Landing on Tuesday and Wednesday! There will be food, music, crafts and shopping at Great Plaza. Plus, nearly all Latin American countries will be represented at the fiesta!
July 7
- Travel to New Orleans without leaving the city! Wm. Mulherin’s Sons is hosting the Big Easy Under the El—a Southern-inspired night of fine dining. Make your reservation now and enjoy tons of beignets, shrimp and fried chicken Wednesday night!
- Bastille Day, France’s Independence Day, is coming up! To celebrate, the Alliance Française de Philadelphie is holding a virtual auction from July 7th to July 15th. Some of the items include a private tour of the Barnes Foundation, a gift basket from Le Pain Quotidien and a rare vintage necklace! A vos marques, prêts, enchérissez!
July 8
- Shipmate Fulfillment* is presenting the Get Philly Back to Work Job Fair Party! You can expect food trucks, a DJ and—of course—tons of local businesses who are looking to hire! Guests will eat, drink, and network from 5:00 pm to 7:30pm at 4400 Griscom St. Sign up for free ASAP!
- Head to Morris House Hotel for a once in a lifetime experience: Candlelight Open Air: From Bach to the Beatles! The Listeso String Quartet will perform a selection of Bach’s most popular works and then a plethora of Beatles favorites!
July 9
- Get your dance on at The Warm Up! The Boom Boom in Fishtown is hosting this concert/open mic night hybrid. At 8 p.m., open mic sign ups (and the dancing, of course) begin. After, the featured artists will perform: Cedric Clinton, a Hawaii-based hip hop singer, and S.A.G.E.S., a local soul band.
- Need a break from the city? Spend the evening at the Southampton Days Fair! From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., there will be entertainment for the whole family, including a dog show and live music!
July 10
- ABBA + brunch = the perfect Saturday morning. Punch Line Philly is teaming up with Burd Events for this ABBA-themed drag brunch! The event begins at 10:30 a.m., which if you ask us, is the perfect time to channel your inner dancing queen!
- Each month, Good Good Comedy Theatre hosts Ur Mom Is Funny. At this show, three local comedians—and their mothers—compete to see which is the funniest duo. This event starts at 7 p.m. in Callowhill.
July 11
- Spend your Sunday at one of the Food Trust’s largest farmers’ markets! Headhouse Farmers Market has over 50 vendors from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Head on down to 2nd and Lombard Streets and grab anything from cider to pasta!
- Keep the children entertained at the Kids Terrarium Making Workshop! This event is free—all you need to come with is a smile and a 2-liter soda bottle! Your children will learn how to build a terrarium from the bottle and will be given four plants and gardening materials. This event is being held at the Awbury Arboretum from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
