5 Ways to Support MS Awareness Week

In honor of MS Awareness Week, we’ve rounded up a list of upcoming local events that will make a difference in the MS community. Whether you’re interested in participating or volunteering or donating, any time and dollars contributed to the movement will help create a world free of MS.

What is MS?

MS (Multiple Sclerosis) is a central nervous system disease which disrupts the flow of information within the brain, as well as the connection between the brain and body. The cause and cure for MS are still unknown. Most people with are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50. At least two to three times more women than men are diagnosed with the disease.
