Every New Year’s Eve, flocks of girls gather in sequins, sparkles, and stilettos. This was no exception at 215NYE’s Tri-State NYE Red Carpet Affair. Celebrity host, Philadelphia Eagles’ Running Back LeSean McCoy, appeared on the red carpet in his Gucci attire and a stylish entourage. Fashion highlights of the evening included CBS Philly’s Kharisma McIlwaine in a vibrant green. You definitely couldn’t miss the host of the red carpet, Rachael Edwards, in her black sequin mermaid dress that fit like a glove. One of my favorites was PHL17’s Ashley Johnson in a white and silver metallic look.
Of course the Philly PR Girl team took their fashion choices very seriously. Not one to miss a trend, Kate chose all-over sparkle in Pantone color of the year, emerald! Victoria opted for a signature all-black look in a Robert Rodriguez dress with leather bodice and ruffled skirt. Kristen rocked a one-should metallic silver mini dress. As our fashion guru, Ian did not disappoint with his mix-matched houndstooth and pinstripe patterns – topped off with a handmade bowtie!
Some of my other favorite looks included MoShay Lauren in all RED! I also loved Fox 29’s Kacie McDonnell’s white lace cocktail dress. Let’s not forget the men! Alloyius McIlwaine of Culture Clothing rocked a contrast look of bright yellow shirt with a black tie while Actor/Model Todd Anthony stunned in a crisp white suit. Even Mike Jerrick from Fox 29 stopped by to ring in the new year in style…or did he just want to hang out with the beautiful ladies?! Either way no party in Philly is complete without Mike there!
