Tuesday, August 28th

  • The one and only Madonna at the Wells Fargo Center
  • The Parrotheads will be out in full force at the Susquhanna Bank Center cause Jimmy Buffet is coming to town!  Get your tailgating supplies ready!

Wednesday, August 29th

  • Penn Museum Weekly Summer Night Concert Series: Featuring a mix of international music styles displaying sounds of Brazil’s popular bossa nova beats, funk fusion and Middle Eastern folk/rock.  Admission is just $5 for the 5-8 pm and it includes entry to explore the museum’s galleries.
  • Concerts in the Park (Rittenhouse that is) featuring the Strapping Fieldhands & the Spinning Leaves. – FREE!
  • Alanis Morissette is live at The House of Blues in Atlantic City
  • Philly’s own MC Kuf Knotz hosts his monthly BoomBox Collective at World Cafe Live – FREE

Thursday, August 30th

  • War & George Clinton & The Parliment Funkadelic at The Dell Music Center
  • RebirthBrass Band at The Blockley
  • Tribute Night at Underground Arts featuring a Doors Tribute Band and an AC/DC Tribute Band
  • Philadelphia Eagles -vs- NY Jets – Go check out the game at the Piazza’s Big Screen!

Friday, August 31st

  • Red, White, & Boom Party at The Revel Hotel in AC!  Swirl a selection of hand-picked red and white wines while watching the Revel Fireworks Show from the SkyGarden.  (Resort guests only)
  • 90′ Party at the Moshulu (9pm-2am) with Fame Lust & DJ DeeJay – $5  If you liked my Dancing & Drinking Through the Decades post you should totally hit up this rad party!  (I said RAD A LOT in the 90’s!)

Saturday, September 1st

Sunday, September 2nd

  • Made in America!
