IBA & PNC Bank Present Bustard Advertising with $10,000 LGBT Business Award

The Independence Business Alliance (IBA) held their 10th Anniversary Celebration on May 10, 2017 at the Down Town Club. This gala, presented by PNC Bank, celebrated the past 10 years of growth and achievement in the Greater Philadelphia LGBT business community. The winner of the PNC Bank LGBT Business Award, which is a $10,000 cash award, went  to the very deserving Bustard Advertising.

Owner Jayne Keyser has been an active IBA member since 2014. She plans on using the PNC award to expand Bustard Advertising, which provides real life customer-centric marketing and planning for small businesses. With the award, Keyser will upgrade Bustard’s marketing materials, online and social media platforms to increase Bustard’s audience and engagement. They will be offering three marketing seminars to LGBT young professionals through 2018 and offer support to women-owned businesses and trans individuals.

Keyser commented, “Bustard advertising is devoted to helping our clients creatively target their marketing messages with a positive ROI. We are committed to serve our clients, suppliers
and community with honesty, dignity and respect. Our ‘Let’s Cooperate’ attitude allows us to be a good corporate citizen.”

The evening’s program included remarks from Mayor Kenney, who also attended the IBA’s Business Leaders Luncheon in 2016. Special Guest Jonathan Capehart, a Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post and MSNBC journalist was presented with the IBA Influencer Award to honor his career in journalism. Current IBA President Rich Horrow, Esq. addressed and honored the past Presidents of IBA, founder Bill Gehrman and his successor Evan Urbania.
