Monday, May 15

  • ARIA Hall of Fame artist, Paul Kelly is on a North American tour with Charlie Owen and the two will be performing at World Cafe Live Philadelphia. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
  • Start of your week with food, wine, music, and the Center City Residents’ Association as they hold their Celebration of Center City Living. All the event’s proceeds will benefit the beautiful neighborhood opera house, the Academy of Vocal Arts at 1920 Spruce Street.

Tuesday, May 16

  • “You’ll have the time of your life!” Broadway Philadelphia’s production of Dirty Dancing premiers tonight. Don’t be left out as the Kimmel Center is transformed into the iconic Catskills resort from the classic 1987 musical.
  • PHS Pop UP Garden’s newest location at uCity Square opens this week at 36th and Filbert Street. Stop by one of the city’s go-to summer spots for Taco Tuesdays!

Wednesday, May 17

  • The Walnut Club hosts a special film screening of the award-winning documentary entitled “Equal Means Equal”. The film tells the story of the status of women in America. Afterwards, enjoy networking with fellow professional women of Philadelphia.
  • Parks on Tap has partnered with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, Fairmount Park Conservancy, and FCM Hospitality to bring another season of fresh food, beer on tap, wine, snacks, and more. The program kicks off today at the Azalea Garden for the first of its 14 stops this season.

Thursday, May 18

  • Want to get an inside look into the Philadelphia fashion industry? The Art Institute of Philadelphia is hosting the Global Fashion Entrepreneurship Symposium. Discuss innovative business trends, ideas, and inspirations with some of Philadelphia’s leading fashion innovators.
  • LOVE Your Park Week festivities continue with ninth annual An Evening in Franklin Square, presented by Parx Casino. Enjoy a cocktail reception under the Chinese Lantern festival lights. Last year’s event raised more than $260,000 to support the beloved park.
  • A Celebration of Life: Philadelphia presented by Minding Your Mind is a part of a nation-wide campaign to raise awareness for mental health and celebrate survivorship.

Friday, May 19

  • The Urban Philly Professional Network Happy Hour Series continues at the newly opened Museum of the American Revolution. The After Work Mixer collaboration with Visit Philadelphia is the perfect opportunity to further connect with other urban professionals in the Greater Philadelphia area.  
  • The Philly Showcase of Wine, Cheese, & Beer is back for the 5th year. The family-friendly showcase pays tribute to MLB Champion David Montgomery and the Philadelphia Phillies. Not to mention, all proceeds go directly to supporting the Boy & Girls Club.
  • Comedy and co-host of the Daytime Emmy-Award winning talk show “The Real”, Loni Love, is performing at Punch Line Philly. A night with Loni is guaranteed to have you laughing until you cry.
  • In honor of LOVE Your Park Week, Jefferson Square Park is hosting a movie under the star. Bring snacks, drinks, and a blanket for a moonlit screening of the Academy Award-winning movie La La Land starting Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.

Saturday, May 20

  • The highly anticipated fundraiser, Preakness at the Piazza*, returns for the 142nd running of the Preakness Stakes. This annual benefit for multiple sclerosis has turned into one of the city’s most fashionable events. Don your best derby attire and join the party for a unforgettable night of food, entertainment, and fashion!
  • Philadelphia’s best shopping, dining, culture, and fun will all combine for the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival, presented by Capital One. The festival will have pedestrian-only access down Walnut Street from the Avenue of the Arts to Rittenhouse Square.
  • The nation’s oldest outdoor market celebrates the annual 9th Street Italian Market Festival. Venture to the heart of South Philly for a weekend full of the city’s traditional Italian-American culture.
  • Time to think outside the box with Philly traditions. This year marks the 10th annual Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby & Arts Festival. This entirely unique street festival is both wacky and creative, making it a can’t-miss event.
  • Experience the iconic Citizens Bank Park like never before. The “All-Star” Craft Beer & Wine Festival offers over 200 samples to enjoy. Take advantage of the free parking and the opportunity to walk the bases!

Sunday, May 21

  • Philly’s OG hot yoga studio, Philadelphia Hot Yoga* is hosting “Hips, Heart, Backbends – Part Three: Flex Arch + Twist.” Yoga instructor Ammie Ferguson will guide yogis through stretches, breathes, and mudras that channel the felt experience and stimulate the nerve centers.
  • Who do Philadelphians love more than our beloved Eagles? Come down to Lincoln Financial Field for the ultimate football festival created especially for the team’s most dedicated female fans. Eagles Football Festival for Women includes appearances by Head Coach Doug Pederson, Eagles players and alumni, Eagles cheerleader fitness clinic, run through football drills, a lip sync battle featuring the players and much more!
