Beetlejuice The Musical Now in Philadelphia

The Kimmel Cultural Campus and the Shubert Organization are excited to present a new musical comedy, Beetlejuice. This “Feast for the Eyes and Soul” type of play, as Entertainment Weekly would describe it, will take place at the Academy of Music on the Kimmel Cultural Campus from Tuesday, May 30, to Sunday, June 11!

This hilarious musical based on Tim Burton’s 1988 film Beetlejuice tells the story of Lydia Deetz, whose life changes drastically after meeting a deceased couple and a striped demon. It is a remarkably touching play about family, love, and making the most of every Day-O! You can expect off-the-wall humor, tuneful music, wicked lyrics, and a carnivalesque set design.

Vice President of Theatrical Programming & Presentations on the Kimmel Cultural Campus, Frances Egler, describes it as “one of the cheekiest shows on the 2022-23 Broadway season, with a visually spectacular set and over 100 special effects, optical illusions, and pyrotechnics.”

So Philly, grab your tickets soon because this is a must-see musical! Beetlejuice will be showing at the Kimmel Cultural Center in Philadelphiawith opening night starting May 30 and the last show performance on June 11. Tickets are on sale now!
