Welcome back to This Week in Philly! With the Memorial Day weekend festivities coming to a close, we have an array of events for you to enjoy this week. Check them out below!

Monday, May 29

  • Looking for something to do this Memorial Day? Visit the Wine Garden for a Memorial Day Cookout from 3-8 pm. Purchase your tickets here to enjoy a barbecue platter, frosés upon entry, and the happy hour specials offering $6 wine and $1 off all specialty cocktails.
  • Brush up on some American history at the Museum of the American Revolution. Veterans, military, and Blue Sar Families will be granted free admission throughout the weekend. For more information look here.
Tuesday, May 30
  • Enjoy one of the biggest country concerts of the summer. Get tickets to see Zach Bryan at Wells Fargo Center for night 1 of his stay in Philly. Get more information here.
  • The Philadelphia Latino Film Festival is happening NOW! From feature films to shorts and animations, you can see it all. The festival will be featured at various locations in Philly. See it now before it ends on July 9.
Wednesday, May 31
  • Kids At Play is hosting their grand opening and ribbon-cutting event to showcase their new and improved therapy playground located in Roxborough. The new space includes a zip line, interactive virtual playground, ball pits, and MORE! Check out this link to learn more about Kids At Play!

  • Movie night just got even better! Sunset Social PHL is bringing back its summer outdoor movie nights. There will be an array of movies played all summer long and you won’t want to miss it! Get your tickets for the next showing!
Thursday, June 1
  • Indulge yourself in the arts of the city at The Arts on Center Stage featuring the Philadelphia dance company Philadanco. The event will include performances such as orchestral serenades, ballet ensembles, and much more. Show out to see the amazing talents of the city FREE for all!
  • The award-winning Billy Porter is making a stop in Philly on his national tour and will be performing at The Met this Thursday! Don’t miss out on getting your tickets to this spectacular show!
Friday, June 2
  • This Friday is the first day of the Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show. This is the oldest outdoor fine arts show in the country going on 95 years and featuring over 140 artists! Enjoy a stroll around the art show and immerse yourself in the culture and arts!
  • Kicking off The Roots Picnic musical festival in Philadelphia is comedian Dave Chapelle this Friday night at 7:30 pm at Wells Fargo Center. For more info look here!
Saturday, June 3rd
  • Explore the Eastern State Penitentiary for a Twilight Tour. After taking a tour you can locate The Fair Chance Beer Garden on the penitentiary baseball field for a drink and to enjoy a series of events such as performances, guide-led tours, pop-up talks, and maker space activities.
