Hello Philly! Another beautiful week ahead! Lots of events are coming up, and PPRG has got you covered. Check out this week’s events below!
Monday 4/17:
- Punch Line Philly is hosting its second Open Mic Night this month on Apr 17. Have a couple of drinks, relax, and enjoy the laughs! Get your tickets here. Remember, this is a 21+ event with a two drink requirement.
- Come down to Old City to enjoy a Monday Board Game Night at The Bourse Food Hall! This is a free event and will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. All you have to do is join the group to RSVP for all future events!
Tuesday 4/18:
- Join Katie Parla at the Drexel Center for Hospitality and Sport Management for a Food of the Italian Islands event. Katie will give a lecture, have a book signing, then a tasting of her different cuisines. Make sure to register here before the event.
- This Tuesday, you can join the American Swedish Historical Museum for the Toddler Time: Save the Earth event. This event will include story time, crafts, and composting! ASHM members will be able to attend this event for free, and the cost is $5 for non-paying members. You can pay at the door or pre-register here.
Wednesday 4/19:
- Sofar Sounds will be having a live music event in Center City Philadelphia. You’ll see 2 or 3 short sets from performers from all musical genres and artistries. The location will be announced 36 hours before the event! You can buy your tickets here! This event will start at 7:30 p.m.
- Join Evelyn’s Cafe for an “Emu-zing” paint and sip night. You can get your tickets here. Your ticket will include food. This is also a BYOB event so make sure to sip on a glass of wine while you paint.
Thursday 4/20:
- Dance the night away at Salsa Night with DJ Big George this Thursday. This event will take place on a scenic rooftop at Bok Bar. This is a FREE event. All are welcome, whether you are a beginner or an expert.
- Join Tattooed Mom on South Street for their annual SLAYER Drag Show. This show will combine heavy metal music with the art of drag. This is the only event in Philly to combine the two! Get your tickets now.
Friday 4/21:
- Come down to City Winery Philadelphia this Friday, and check out The Verve Pipe with Will Dailey. “The Verve Pipe has spent the better part of three decades in evolution, creating a sound that transcends genre and generation.” Tickets are going fast so make sure you grab yours now!
- Sing & dance your heart out to your favorite boy bands this Friday at the Fillmore. Best Night Ever is returning to Philadelphia for a fun club night with your favorite hits. Make sure to get tickets before you arrive!
Saturday 4/22:
- Enjoy the magic of Disney at the Disney100 Exhibition. This exhibition is located at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. “Experience ten imaginatively themed galleries featuring moving stories, a rich musical score, and unique behind-the-scenes glimpses into the creation of the company’s most popular characters.” Get your tickets online!
- The 19th Annual Sandy Sprint will take place this Saturday at the Philadelphia Art Museum! This will include a 5k run/walk, a Survivor ceremony, and more! Make sure to register. There will be no same-day registration this year!
Sunday 4/23:
- A Philly favorite is back! Grab anything from something sweet to something savory at the annual StrEAT Food Festival in Manayunk. There will be tons of vendors to choose from! Try out some BBQ or even a gourmet meal!
- Pretty Green Terrariums on South Street will be hosting a terrarium-building event. This is one of their most popular events so make sure to get your tickets ASAP!
