Good morning Philly! It’s the last full week of February and we’ve got some fun events for you!
Monday 2/20
- Bring your little ones out for a morning of creativity and movement. The Kid Lab is having a yoga for kids event that will allow your children to get active in a nurturing environment.
- The Lucien E. Blackwell West Philadelphia Regional Library is having a Black History Month Inventors Showcase. Children will be able to do activities and learn about African American inventors.
Tuesday 2/21
- Get in the spirit and join ARTrageous Brush and Flow for their Mardi Gras Paint and Sip. During the event, they will walk you through how to create your masterpiece and receive a complimentary hurricane.
- American singer CeCe Piniston will be performing at City Winery. She’ll be singing all of her hits including “Finally” which earned a spot on the hot 100. City Winery encourages guests to come for dinner before the show.
Wednesday 2/22
- Grab your friends for a night out at Campus Philly’s Philly Night Out at Independence Blue Cross Riverrink Winterfest. When you use the code CAMPUSPHILLYNIGHTOUT2o23 you’ll receive free skate admission. During the event, there will also be vendors for food and drink specials.
- Well-known country music star Carrie Underwood is coming to our city! She’s continuing her Denim and Rhinestones Tour and will be performing at the Wells Fargo Center with special guest Jimmie Allen. Be sure to grab your tickets while you still can!
Thursday 2/23
- Valentine’s Day has passed but love is still in the air! Join Franklin Square Philly for their Chilly Philly Mini Golf with LOVE Event. Grab your tickets and bring your loved ones out to enjoy a night of mini golf. Philly Mini Golf has even transformed into Valentine’s theme to make it extra special.
- Get your bowl on with your besties and head to Brooklyn Bowl for their Songs About Jane Project event. The lane packages consist of a leather couch, table, and bowling shoes for everyone in your party. Make sure to grab your tickets!
Friday 2/24
- The Philly Home and Garden Show is here! This three-day event begins Friday 2/24 and goes on until Sunday 2/26. Each day holds something unique and different, check out the stage schedule for more details.
- Come out to the SunKissed Renaissance Website Launch Celebration at Cherry Street Pier. It will be an evening of creativity, networking, and celebration. The digital platform was created to highlight the work of Black, Brown, and Indigenous female creators. RSVP to celebrate and support a great cause.
Saturday 2/25
- The German Society of Pennsylvania is having its Tenth Annual Philly Bierfest. The event will support nonprofit organizations as well as the Brewers of Pennsylvania. There will be entertainment, activities, and of course, plenty of beer to enjoy. Get your tickets to secure your spot!
- The Wissahickon Environmental Center is having a Maple Sugar Festival for all family and friends to attend. The event will consist of syrup making, syrup tasting, candy making, and more. To make it even sweeter, the event is free!
Sunday 2/26
- Constellation, Philadelphia Parks and Recreation and Catering Company, is having its Getaway at the Greenhouse event. During the day is Family Fun Time and the evening switches to Happy Hour for the adults to enjoy. Food trucks, Philly’s finest food vendors, live music, and more are all taking place inside a beautiful venue at Fairmount Park Horticulture Center.
- The National Liberty Museum is still celebrating Black History Month and they have an event for the kiddos! Their Beyond Wakanda – Imagining the Future With Black Creators event will include workshops, discussions, and showcases.
