Honor Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month with The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation

Did you know that September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month? If you’re interested in giving back, here’s your chance! The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation is hosting a number of fun events and challenges throughout the month to raise awareness and funds to advance research.

Join the foundation’s “Sweaty and Sweet-less” Challenge which encourages you to either go sweet-free, get sweaty, or do both in September to raise funds for people affected by ovarian cancer. Participants can sign up for free and get friends and family to sponsor them when they want to skip the gym or enjoy a sweet treat with a donation to SROCF.

Like sports? There will also be an Ovarian Cancer Awareness Night at the Phillies game against the Atlanta Braves on Friday, September 23. A portion of the ticket sales will benefit the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation when purchased through this link

Show your support for the more than 188,000 women in the US currently living with the disease by wearing teal! Teal is the color for ovarian cancer awareness and Friday, September 2 is “Where Teal Day”. The foundation lights up iconic Philadelphia locations like the Ben Franklin Bridge, Wells Fargo Center, PHL Airport, and many more throughout the month to spread awareness.
