This Week in Philly September 5-11

Happy Labor Day, Philly! It is a brand new week and as always, we have some amazing events going on this week all around the city to kick off the first week of September. Be sure to read through and add all these fun events to this week’s calendar. 

September 5:

      • Who doesn’t love a family friendly block party barbeque on Labor Day?! Come out to Howard’s Cookout today, enjoy all of the food and summer vibes. 
      • Located at the Sculpture courtyard, a hidden urban gem of Philadelphia; this summer holiday party is definitely worth getting out to. 

September 6:

      • Sweat out all the Labor Day weekend goodies with a workout in Center City. Bring your yoga mat, water and be ready to get active with Barre3!
      • Come for the drinks, food, people or all 3. The Saint is back again this Tuesday hosting the Hangout for all 21+ to enjoy and dance the night away from 9pm-2am.

September 7:

      • Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Doobie Brothers at the MET tonight! Grab your tickets here before they’re all gone. 
      • Wind down your hump day with movies, games, and trivia at the Explicit Event Hall. Be sure to check it out!

September 8:

      • It’s that time of the week again! Meet with co-workers and friends to enjoy drinks and food on *South Street and shop the night away with special shopping and art experiences!
      • Calling all Hip-Hop fans, Wutang and Nas are here! Don’t miss out, get your tickets and all concert info here!

September 9:

      • Kick your weekend off at NOTO, Philly’s premiere nightlife spot with renowned DJ, Slushii.
      • Attention all Kid Cudi fans, he is in town tonight! Grab your tickets and come on down to South Philly to enjoy the concert.

September 10:

      • Spend your final Saturdays of summer with friends and family at Parks on Tap. Enjoy drinks, food and beautiful sunsets right by the river. 
      • Weekend yoga sesh! *The Wellness Collective is offering free virtual Vinyasa yoga classes, relaxing with some of the best yoga instructors in the comfort of your own home and at your own pace.

September 11:

      • Head on down to the Headhouse Farmers Market located right in the historic Society Hill Neighborhood for a wide selection of  fresh produce and locally prepared foods.
      • Bring your friends down to the #1 brunch party in Philly at Bucks Rack City from 11am-3pm.
