Tiny Room For Elephants Festival is taking over the Cherry Street Pier from July 8 through July 24 and you won’t want to miss it. At the festival, artists paint and install collectively, in the same space over a 10-day period, to a live soundtrack curated by the city’s most talented DJs and Producers. After painting/installations are complete, TRFE celebrates the works over four days with live performances and activations including adult and kid sip and paints and an all-day dance party.
The inspiration for this year’s festival is “made with love and inspired by grit” which is the ethos of Tiny Room for Elephants. They have partnered with Visit Philadelphia’s Love + Grit, a leading podcast that tells the authentic and diverse stories of the city, to help portray that message. Other partners for this year’s festival include Tito’s, FOX29, and Delaware River Waterfront Corporation. Most of the festival is free for the public to attend but the Tiny Room for Elephants Premiere on July 21st and certain activations require tickets. Ticket information can be found here. During the premiere, guests can get a first look at all of the art, while enjoying live musical and dance performances, as well as complimentary beverages, by Titos, Bulleit, and Pressed Juice!
Amazing artwork, live music, dancing, and local artists coming together outside at Cherry Street Pier: what more could you want for some summer fun? Be sure to stop by the festival to experience the excitement for yourself!
