This Week In Philly: July 4 – July 10

Welcome back once again to #ThisWeekInPhilly! With the 4th of July starting us off this week, you bet it will be a crazy week full of fun events and activities for friends and family!  Keep reading to see what Philly has in store for us!

July 4

  • Wawa Welcome America never disappointed when it comes to the 4th of July! Their Party on the Parkway is a day-long party packed with concerts, games, food trucks, giveaways and more! Click here for more information on this event such as what items you’re allowed to bring, entrances, and more! 
  • The Salute to America Independence Day Parade is back and better than never! And you’ll never guess who this year’s grand marshal is, Miss America 2022 Emma Broyles! The parade will feature spectacular floats, United States Military Units, marching bands, cultural groups, dance performances, historical characters and more! 
  • Last, but most definitely not least, Wawa Welcome America presents their July 4th Concert to close off this day’s festivities! This insane concert will feature award-winning singer and songwriter Jason Derulo, platinum selling pop star Ava Max, and grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Tori Kelly! July 5

  • Get ready to get your sweat on in Center City with Barre on the Plaza! Mark your calendars for this free weekly full body and mind workout! Bring a yoga mat, waterbottle and your endurance!

  • *Corridor Contemporary is one of Philly’s coolest galleries with its focus on international contemporary and modern art! Get ready for their First Friday Event where they will be presenting Anthony Rondinone’s solo exhibition called “Sunny Days and Lonely Nights”. His artwork uses famous pop culture characters to express different people and coping mechanisms. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind exhibition available only during the month of July!
  • Ladies and gentlemen it’s time to pull out those cowboy boots and get ready to dance the night away at Moshulu’s Country Music Night! This epic evening will feature all your favorite recent hits and 90’s throwback country songs! Wipe those Whiskey Glasses clean and get your tickets before they sell out!
  • *Tiny Room for Elephants is finally here! You will not want to miss out on their Festival Kickoff! TRFE is a one-of-a-kind network that serves to connect music and art in order to create a unique experience for its community! Their Festival Kickoff will feature Tito’s Vodka happy hour and live DJ! 

July 9 

  • We could not be more excited for the Sistahs in Business Expo to be coming back to Philly! This expo will feature over 100 vendor displays , speakers and panelists, networking opportunities, giveaways, and so much more! The best part of this expo is the mission behind it!
