Put on your sneakers and get ready for the 2nd annual Sneaker Ball Art & Sole School Supply and Sneaker Drive, hosted by the Change Our Future Foundation! On Thursday, July 7 at Vie by Cescaphe, Change Our Future Foundation Founders, Rodney McLeod Jr. and Erika McLeod are hosting a night focused on uplifting and supporting local youth while celebrating sneaker culture.
This year, Change Our Future plans to use the Sneaker Ball to provide students with school supplies. Attendees are asked to bring a pair of new or gently worn sneakers or a school supply to donate.
Enjoy a night of sneaker culture, live entertainment by DJ Diamond Kutz, a silent auction, luxury sneaker vendors, and the heart and soul of the Philadelphia community. Check out the pop-up sneaker museum or taste gourmet cuisine and specialty cocktails prepared by well-known Philly chefs and newcomers to the scene. This philanthropic event is black-tie, backed by sponsors such as Tito’s, Patron, Philadelphia Style Magazine, Staples, and more.
Last year’s Sneaker Ball event gave Change Our Future the ability to donate more than 100 sneakers from attendees to several organizations including Turning Points Foster, Women’s Shelter, and Philadelphia PAL, to name a few.
