Corridor Contemporary’s “Wall to Wall” Exhibition Opening

Corridor Contemporary hosted the opening of their “Wall to Wall” group exhibition on June 3, and it was the place to be! Throughout the evening, the gallery was filling up with people eager to see the art for national and international artists! The vibrant colors of the artwork were illuminated by the gallery’s large windows, inviting people in to check it out as they walked by.

The overarching theme of the exhibition was “Wall to Wall”, bringing together artwork from artists who specialize in street art traditions such as graffiti, tagging, wheatpasting, and public murals. The exhibition showcases works from Seek One, Jason Andrew Turner, Distortedd, King Saladeen, Kenny Scharf, Eric Inkala, Hebru Brantley, Taher Jaoui, and Binsky.

The artwork was truly one-of-a-kind and definitely something you don’t want to miss! Every piece showcased its own individuality that allowed it to be identifiable from one another. Alone, each piece had its own story to tell, but brought together, they complimented and elevated the exhibition.

One of Corridor Contemporary’s main goals is to introduce Philadelphia artists to an international audience, and vice-versa, to introduce the Philadelphia audience to a wide range of international works. The gallery is located in Philadelphia’s culturally vibrant neighborhood, Fishtown, and has a sister gallery located in Tel Aviv, Israel.

If you could not make it out to the opening, don’t worry! The exhibition runs through the month of June, so plan a day with your friends to stop by and see some of the amazing artwork and enjoy Fishtown! Corridor Contemporary is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
