This week is filled with a wide range of events to give you as many options as possible as we head into the season of better weather. From comedy shows, virtual cooking classes, and even a fundraising dinner, you always know we have you covered! Keep reading to find your new plans for the week!

March 14 
  • Learn and celebrate at the Benefit Philadelphia Ballet fundraising dinner with A Conversation with Five Pioneering Black Ballerinas!   • Bad Bunny is waiting for you at the Wellsfargo Center! The setlist will include his memorable hits while also featuring some of his newest songs! Buy your tickets soon before the shows sold out! 
  • Become a master chef with Cozymeal’s online cooking class! This class will be going over how to make yummy Caribbean-style fish tacos with a tasty pineapple margarita to pair with it! You’ll be able to impress anyone with these skills! 
  • Tune in for the first day of Diversitech Summit with Trabaja! Experience three days of workshops, panels, and contest with diverse leaders, tech enthusiast, and more! Take the opportunity of virtual networking and so much more with Trabaja!
March 17 
  • Start finding your best green outfit because Howl at the Moon is ready to celebrate Saint Patty’s Day! With many other local bars participating, such as Drinkers Pub and Tradesmans, expect this to be the best crawl in town! 
  • Looking to celebrate Saint Patty’s Day earlier than most? Fado Irish Pub and Restaurant has you covered! Starting at 9 a.m. their celebration begins! Having live music and pints you’ll want to keep buying because of the price, this will no doubt be a fun all-day event! 
March 18 
  • Head over to Kimmel Cultural Campus, as they present A Tribute to Aretha Franklin: The Queen of Soul! Damien Sneed, Valerie Simpson, and four-time Grammy Award winner Karen Clark Sheard are paying homage to the legend herself, showcasing renditions of her more cherished hits! 
  • Take part in Women’s History Month by virtually attending, Women Empowerment & Tribute: Ms. Classic Universe. Learn from Dr. Renee Reyonlds Lawson’s story as a survivor and take away tools for all women to live their very best lives! 
March 19 
  • Looking for a yoga community to join? Check out The Wellness Collective’s online yoga session! Every Saturday morning, tune in and get to know people who have the same interest as you while helping your body! 
  • Next In Line Comedy has a fantastic show set up if you need a good laugh! Head over to Frankly Bradley’s to enjoy the stand-up show from one of the best rising comedians, Ian Lara! Being a guest on Jimmy Fallon, a feature in The New Yorker Magazine, and his own HBO MAX show, this is a must-go-to show! 
March 20 
  • Enjoy a night solving a mystery while dining on an indulging three-course meal with The Golden Girls Murder Mystery! This week will lead you down the path to solving the curse of Jessica fletcher to find the culprit amongst one another! Will you be the one to solve the mystery?
  • Join the discussion of the book Bad Hair Does Not Exist with the author herself, Sulma Arzu-Brown! This virtual live Q&A will go over the book’s message of anti-bullying within our youth, and enforcing respect for one another! It’s time to start empowering one another!
