McGillin’s Olde Ale House 

After surviving through the prohibition and now two pandemics, McGillin’s is ready to celebrate with you! As their holiday special, McGillin’s will be serving green beer, which is sure to get anyone in the Saint Patty’s Day mood! The Classic Philly ale house is opening bright and early at 10 a.m. to kick off the holiday and even allowing guests to pay a one-time cover charge with the opportunity to come and go as you wish! 

 

Fadó Irish Pub 

This authentic Irish Pub has a jammed-packed day for you! Located in the bustling area of Center City, heading to this pub will be a breeze from anywhere in Philly! Fadó begins their celebrating opening at 9 a.m. for guests to get a full day of all things Saints Pattys. Guests are welcomed to enjoy live music by 52 Pick Up and DJ Press play big pint deals that won’t leave your pot of gold empty!

Fergie’s Pub 

Located in Center City, Fergie’s convenient location, affordable prices, and drinks, make it an awesome choice for St Patrick’s day. Fergie’s Pub was established in 1994 and remains a TV-free environment with open mic nights, karaoke, and trivia nights! Stop by for some fish and chips and a cold beer!  

O’Neals Irish Pub 

If you head down South 3rd Street and find the building with the Irish flag painted on the outside, you’re at the right place! Being one of the longest-running bars on South Street, this place is a must-go for celebrating the holiday! The pub serves over 20 beers on draught and rare Irish whiskey to get you in the Irish mood! O’Neals will be serving Irish-inspired lunch and dinner with bagpipe performance as well for the holiday to ensure you will have a night to remember! 

 

The Black Sheep Pub and Restaurant

This three-story pub was established in 1999 and resides just steps away from Rittenhouse square. They offer a wide selection of draft beers and you can enjoy a meal for lunch, dinner, or you can even try their late-night snack menu. Their specialities are the Guinness Irish stew and the Shepard’s Pie. 

Con Murphy’s Irish Pub 

This pub is not only in tribute to the real Con Murphy but the entire Irish community, so no doubt they know how to celebrate the holiday! This pub will definitely be keeping you busy as soon as you get there with glass engraving, raffles, food/drink specials, face painting, and best of all, live performances from Irish dancers! You’ll also get the chance to see Clancy’s Pistol Band perform starting at 3 p.m.! So show up and celebrate in honor of Con Murphy! 

The Plough and the Stars 

 If you’re looking for a more chill vibe this St. Patrick’s day, stop by The Plough and the Stars. This authentic Irish pub is located in the Old City District of Philadelphia and provides a warm and cozy atmosphere. The Plough and the Stars source from as many local farms as possible for their delicious menu. You can also check out their live music!
