Happy (almost) Thanksgiving Philly!
November is flying by and we’re ready to take a full dive into the holiday season! Looking for things to do with friends and family this week for Thanksgiving? We got just the list for you! Get ready for a week of parades, comedy shows, concerts, and much more Philly!
November 22
  • The Future of the Organ: Performance and Panel Discussion with Philadelphia’s artistic and sacred communities in a two-part program tonight at 6. The concert will be followed by a panel discussion with Braden and Ness who will be joined by composer Melissa Dunphy and moderated by Joshua Castaño.
  • American pop-rock singer-songwriter, Jon McLaughlin, will be at City Winery* tonight at 8. Get the VIP pass and upgrade your experience with early entry, a pre-show meet and greet, and many more fun surprises!
November 23
  • It’s time to mellow down at The Loft of City Winery* and watch Peter Bradley Adams
  • Join Anastasia as she sets out on a journey to solve the mystery of her past. The new musical Anastasia opens tonight at the Merriam Theater of Kimmel Cultural Campus.
November 24
  • Big Jay Oakerson, one of the country’s most in-demand comedians, is coming to the Helium Comedy Club tonight at 8. You’ve probably seen his new Comedy Central hour special “Big Jay Oakerson: Live at Webster Hall”, now see him live!
  • He has three Netflix specials, was in The Irishman, and is one of the world’s most famous comedians. Any guesses on who this may be? It’s Sebastion Maniscalco! Catch Sebastion on his Nobody Does This Tour at Wells Fargo Center tonight at 8!
November 25
  • Happy Thanksgiving Philly! The 6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade is back and better than ever! For over 100 years, this parade has been one of the best Philly traditions to kick off the holidays! Whether you’re there in person or watching it at home, there’s no better way to start Thanksgiving day!
  • It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Philly! Looking for something to do after the Thanksgiving Parade? Head over to the Christmas Village Set in Philly as it begins today! While walking around this authentic German market, keep an eye out for Phil the Reindeer.
November 26
  • Join Santa Claus on The SEPTA Santa Express on the Broad Street Line to City Hall Station. After the ride, join the welcome parade for Santa to the Rothman Orthopedics Ice Rink!
  • Make your reservation to meet Santa at Macy’s Santaland this holiday season! Can’t make it in person? Experience Santaland at home through an interactive virtual excursion with Santaland At Home!
November 27
November 28
  • You don’t have to be an olympian skater or hockey player to skate at the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest! The only thing you need is the Christmas spirit to have fun on this NHL-sized rink! If skating isn’t your thing, indulge in flights of fancy under the twinkling lights or cozy up in the warm cabins.
  • Age is just a number at the Crayola IDEAworks: The Creativity Exhibition as it’s a cool museum for all everyone to see! Sadly, today is the last day of this exhibition so check it out before it’s over!
