Happy Monday, Philadelphia! Though we’re getting ready to go into September, we still have some fun summer activities for you! From Pilates in the Park to outdoor pop-up markets to fun Labor Day Weekend activities. Get ready: there’s plenty of exciting stuff to do in Philly this week!

 

August 30 :

  • End your Monday with FREE Pilates! Get down to Drexel Square for some Pilates in the Park from 5:30pm – 6:30pm! Enjoy a low-impact, high-energy workout that will improve your posture, focus on body alignment and fire up your core.

August 31:

  • All aboard the Hogwarts Express! Watch the outdoor screening of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone at the Navy Yard! Get your tickets here!

September 1:

  • September 1’st means its the last month of Summerfest down at Bluecross River Rink! Enjoy the last days of summer roller skating, amusement rides, and of course some Chickies & Pete’s
  • It’s a perfect night for an outdoor movie! Grab the kids and head over to Bartram’s Garden for an outdoor screening of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse!

September 2:

  • Sidewalk sales, art vendors and live music? Count us in! Stop by Manayunk’s Stroll the Street pop-up event today from 5-8pm!
  • Calling all single 28-40 year olds! City Tap House Logan Square is having speed dating event! You heard that right! Come down and enjoy drinks and snacks all while going on 10-12 mini dates! Tickets are required, so get yours now

September 3:

  • Your favorite artist and artisans market is back this week! Head down to Cherry Street Pier for their Artist and Artisans Market today.  Shop beautiful handmade and one of a kind creations. Best of all, its free and open to the public!
  • Looking for a fun sporting event? The Philadelphia Union competes against New England tonight at 7:30. Grab your jerseys, snacks and buy your tickets for tonights game!

September 4:

  • Looking for a party this Labor Day Weekend?! Climb aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia for an All White Yacht Party! Enjoy a buffet, music, drinks and dancing all night long, as you sail down the Delaware River. Tickets are limited so buy yours now!
  • Made In America is back this year! You can still get your ticket for today! Don’t miss the amazing lineup right here in Philadelphia!

September 5:

  • It’s the last day of Main Line Restaurant Week! Make sure to stop in to a variety of restaurants for specials, deals and delicious food!
  • Ubuntu, the first fine art photography gallery in Philadelphia will open its doors today! Located at 5423 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia Pa 19144, the gallery will showcase the work of photographer, artist and engineer Steven CW Taylor. The gallery will include photographs of various people, landscapes, and animals from Taylor’s ventures around the world.
