Monday, March 22

  • Join CNN’s Don Lemon as he talks about his new book This is Fire: What I Say To My Friends About Racism. This virtual event, moderated by 6 ABC’s Tamala Edwards from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m, is one that you do not want to miss! A signed copy of the book is included in the price of your ticket!
  • Prepare to laugh at the Chirping Bird free comedy show! This event will feature headlining comedians all across the country. The comedians that will perform have been featured on networks like HBO, Comedy Central, NBC and so much more! Tune in from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for a fun night!

Tuesday, March 23

  • Calling all playwrights! What better way to kick off April’s National Playwriting Month than with Philadelphia Online’s End of Play free virtual event? The panel discussion will discuss what playwriting during a pandemic has been like. There will be fun activities like theatre trivia and an opportunity to introduce your project! 
  • Get ready to learn your history! Join filmmakers Karla Murthy and Alexandra Nikolchev for a conversation about post-industrial cities and towns in America. The conversation will also be on Murty’s new film The Place That Makes Us that premieres March 30 on WORLD Channel’s America ReFramed. The free event will take place virtually from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Wednesday, March 24

  • It’s still Women’s History Month, and you can continue the celebration by attending Yelp’s first-ever Women in Business Summit! This free two-day virtual event will include panels and presentations by women who have grown their businesses into empires. Women supporting, uplifting and inspiring other women is always a good time.
  • Bring the whole family together for a virtual cooking demonstration! That’s right, the Manna Nourish Series is hosting an interactive webinar featuring homemade dishes from the families of six MANNA chefs!   • Planning a big event like a wedding can be stressful, but Philadelphia Wedding’s First Look has you covered! This free online event will feature top wedding professionals in the Philadelphia area who will provide tips, trends and expert advice! The panelists for this event are Andi Schilawsk, Afrik Armando Enoh, and Laura Nikolich. It is a free event from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The Red & Blue Exchange presents Can We Talk? Civil Dialogue for Troubled Times. This is an opportunity to come together with students as they discuss important topics like the cost of college, racism, democracy and more! The discussion is from 7 p.m. to 9p.m. Register today so you can learn and contribute to much-needed conversations. 

Friday, March 26

  • Come out this Friday to Jenkintown Arts Garage and celebrate spring with Jason Ager! From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. you can enjoy live music, dance performances, an egg hunt and spring crafts. Be sure to bring your own basket to collect your eggs! Buy tickets today! 
  • Simon Fraser University (SFU) History Reads presents Reading ‘The Meaning of Mariah Carey’ in History. This public bookclub will be meeting virtually from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. to read the global icon’s autobiography. Join as the panel of experts dives deep as they examine the book’s historical context. 

Saturday, March 27

  • Women’s History Month continues with SheRocks 2021! This online event is for emerging women artists and entrepreneurs. Take advantage of this perfect opportunity to interact and network with women in business while enjoying live music, dance, visual art performances, and so much more! There will also be giveaways and a photo booth (we love a good photo booth)! This event will take place from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • The Sanit Bèlè (Sanite Bélair) Women’s Empowerment Series is sure to be hit this Saturday at 6 p.m.! You don’t want to miss this online event as Nathalie Cerin (Talie), a Philadelphia based singer-songwriter, leads the way for you to learn, engage and be inspired. 

Sunday, March 28

  • The Clause 40 Foundation is hosting a free virtual advance screening of Philly D.A.! At 7 p.m., you’ll be able to view the show for free and participate in a discussion afterwards. The documentary is about the crazy first term of Larry Krasner, Philadelphia’s District Attorney, and his experiment to upend the criminal justice system from the inside out… sounds good right!? Register today!
  • Nothing beats good laughter! LiveComedyOnZoom is bringing live stand-up comedy right to your home at 8 p.m. This comedy show will feature comedians as seen on JimmyKimmel Live, Comedy Central, Netflix, and more!! The event is free, but donations are strongly encouraged.
