We’re back!  These last few days of winter are slowly coming to an end, and #ThisWeekInPhilly is the perfect time to squeeze in some last-chance winter activities! Events are slowly starting back up and we have the perfect itinerary for Philly activities happening this week. From restaurant week to ice skating, there’s always something happening in Philly!

March 1

  • Last chance for East Passyunk’s 9th annual restaurant week! From now until Friday, March 5, 2021 you can feast on a 3-course lunch and/or dinner for $15, $25, $35 or $55! Dining options include limited capacity indoor and outdoor seating, and takeout. This restaurant week is featuring a diverse selection of dining options so there’s something for everyone! Be sure to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

March 2

  • As the weather begins to warm up, there’s still time to experience some last minute winter fun! The Blue Cross RiverRink is offering ice skating, amusements and cabin rentals until the final day on March 7, 2021. Ice skating tickets are available for $5 and skating rentals are available for $10! Click here to reserve your tickets in advance!

March 3

  • Join Brittney Wilkewitz in a free 60-minute yoga class! Brittany is a certified yoga instructor with over 3,000 hours of teaching experience. The virtual session will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is the perfect opportunity to destress and reset your mind and body by learning and practicing new yoga poses in the comfort of your own space. Tickets can be purchased here

March 4

  • Calling all innovators! Venture Cafe hosts free gatherings every Thursday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. This free networking event is aiming to connect members of the innovation community so that they can collaborate on ideas to improve the human condition. 
  • LAST CALL! Tickets for the California Conference for Women are going fast and this is an event you don’t want to miss! This virtual event will feature keynote speakers like Angie Thomas, Ursula Burns, Stacey Abrams and Dr. Jane Goodall. Come learn about leadership, career advancement, and personal development from these amazing women! Tickets and registration can be found here.

March 5

  • You can support local artists, creatives and entrepreneurs by shopping their beautiful handmade creations! Cherry Street Pier is introducing the 2021 Artist and Artisans Market. From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., you can take a stroll through the pier and buy one-of-a-kind pieces, while enjoying the beautiful view of the Ben Franklin Bridge. The market will be open every first Friday and third Sunday of the month. 

March 6

  • Come celebrate the sweet soulfulness of Sade Adu at the Philly Art Collective. SADE The Ultimate Art Collection will be from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets for this event will be set by donation of $5 or $10 with all proceeds going to the Black Bird Community Center. Sade’s vocal range and diversity sets her apart and makes her influential in art, music and culture!
