Out with the old, in with the new! We’ve got lots of new activities and events happening this week to check out, including Philly PR Girl’s very own Mind, Body, and Bubbly event. #ThisWeekInPhilly will keep you busy all week long, so keep on reading and as always, stay safe!

Monday, September 14th
  • Join evening Zumba at Dilworth park at 6pm! This session includes intense workouts disguised as a lively dance party! For more information click here.
  • It’s Quizzo night at Cavanaugh’s Monday night at 7pm! Bring a team of up to 8 players, and enjoy great food, drinks, and the most challenging questions in the city. For more information or to sign up please check here.
Tuesday, September 15th
  • Center City Restaurant Week has begun! From now until September 25th dine in or out at one of many restaurants in the city with a prix fixe menu of $20 for lunch and $35 for dinner. For a list of restaurants participating click here
  • The Blue Cross RiverRink SummerFest is still happening now until September 27th! Enjoy great food, activities, and more. Fun for all ages! For more information and tickets click here
  • Join the Independence Business Alliance for their virtual LGBTQ+ Networking Event ConnX! They also provide Virtual Happy Hours which includes a virtual space to gather and discuss business and personal needs. For more information click here.
Wednesday, September 16th
  • Enjoy a morning tour with Lonely Planet as they take you through South Philly’s hidden gems including Philly’s one-of-a-kind mosaic garden at Magic Gardens. To schedule a tour click here.
  • In addition to the amazing options of restaurant week, Dinner at Dilworth Park offers dinner with live entertainment. Whether you dine at one of the surrounding restaurants or bring your own, the park offers a great atmosphere and much to see. For more information click here.
Thursday, September 17th
  • The Jurassic Park Drive Thru is a pop-up exhibit open now until September 20th! Drive through the quest featuring over 70 moving and roaring dinosaurs. Perfect for all ages and lovers of the movies! For tickets click here.
  • Head over to Dilworth Park to the Fall Market to support a variety of small businesses! Handmade crafts, confections, artwork and more, each week new vendors will pop up so make sure to make a second trip!
  • Turntable Yoga is back every Thursday with yoga set to a different artist every week! This week you can enjoy the music of David Bowie while getting in the zen-zone. Free of charge, but donations accepted to Philly’s own In-Liquid. For more information check here.
  • For a virtual game night option, check out the Penn Museum Game Night! This game takes you on a virtual tour through the museum’s collections, with chats, polls, and even a chance at prizes! For more information click here.
  • This Thursday join The Philadelphia Fashion Incubator’s “Fashion Thursdays” as alumna Terese Brown educates on how to pivot from wholesale selling to e-commerce! To RSVP click here.
Friday, September 18th
  • Relive the magic of The Lion King in the new 2019 remake at the Philly Drive-In featuring the voices of Beyonce, Donald Glover, and more. Tickets are free but make sure to secure your spot and stay safe while social distancing! For tickets click here.
  • Grab a blanket and a spot to enjoy live music at Sister Cities Park this Friday night. Local artist, Boy Wonder, will be performing so make sure to come and support!

Saturday, September 19th
  • Summer is over which means spooky season is in full force. Head over to Eastern State Penitentiary for a day or night tour sure to scare you into the spooky mood. For tickets click here
  • The Philadelphia Fringe Festival celebrates innovation and creativity in contemporary performance. This year they are featuring over 120 works both live and virtual so be on the lookout for a performance near you! For more information and performances click here

Sunday, September 20th

  • Philly PR Girl’s annual health and wellness event, Mind, Body, and Bubbly, is going virtual– beginning with a Yoga & Meditation session followed by a virtual marketplace from your favorite vendors. Register for FREE here.
