Happy Labor Day Weekend, Philly! We’ve got you covered with fun (and safe) events so you can enjoy the last bits of Summer around the city #ThisWeekendInPhilly. Keep reading to find exciting holiday weekend activities, and as always stay safe!

Friday, September 4th
  • The American Revolution Museum has reopened! With limited capacity, timed ticket reservations are required to enter. Enjoy collections, galleries, and immersive theater experiences all while keeping safe distance. For more information and tickets click here
  • Looking for a fun throwback film? The Philadelphia Expo Center’s Cinema Pop-Up is showing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix this Friday evening. Enjoy the nostalgia of a drive in with the magic of Harry Potter. Get tickets here
Saturday, September 5th
  • Explore Philly’s largest outdoor art gallery through a guided tour through Mural Arts Philadelphia. With groups of 10 or less, enjoy the rich culture of Center City neighborhoods on this 90 minute tour. Sign up here.
  • New movies in 2020?! Head over to the Philadelphia Film Society’s drive in this weekend to view the newest addition to the Bill and Ted trilogy series, “Bill and Ted Face the Music” at the Navy Yard. Get tickets here.
  • For an indoor option: The Philadelphia Film Society is also playing Virtual Quizzo with “The Addams Family.” Sign up through discord while watching the movie on Netflix at 8pm. More information here.
  • The River Stroll offers scenic views of the water while connecting Race Street Pier, Cherry Street Pier, and Spruce Street Harbor park. River Beer Garden at Race Street offers lite bites and beer while The Garden at Cherry Street and The Water Garden offers open air bistro and drinks. The Garden and The Water Garden both require reservations so be sure to secure a spot as soon as possible!
Sunday, September 6th
  • Craving art with a side of brunch? The Barnes Museum has also reopened its doors, featuring artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, Matisse, and more! Additionally, if you arrive early, you can enjoy brunch at the museum’s Garden Restaurant which offers buy one-get one bloody marys on Saturday and Sunday! For tickets click here.
  • The Philadelphia Film Society is showing the film “Get on Up” featuring the late Chadwick Boseman this Sunday. Known as Boseman’s second most notable role, aside from Black Panther,  the film depicts James Brown’s rise from poverty to fame. To purchase tickets click here
  • Nothing says brunch like bottomless mimosas! Golf & Socials Brunch Club PHL features bottomless mimosas and margaritas, with free admission until 3pm. Make sure to make a reservation to secure a spot here.
  • The Philadelphia Museum of Art reopens Sunday, September 6th with  pay-what-you-wish admission. Now featuring art from multiple South Asian artists, European galleries, and many more. For admission please check here.
Monday, September 7th
  • Enjoy a game of Quizzo at Cavanaugh’s Monday night at 6:30pm! Bring a team of up to 8 players, and enjoy great food, drinks, and the most challenging questions in the city. For more information or to sign up please check here
  • Start Labor Day off in zen! Michelle and Tashin are back for outdoor yoga at Penn Treaty Park. After the class, enjoy a BYO picnic altogether in the fresh air, friends and family welcome! For more information and tickets please check here
