Since we can’t go to the gym or our weekly spin classes, we’ve had to change up our workouts to accommodate our current at-home situations. When you’re just not feeling another walk or run around your neighborhood, you can stream the following workouts from 5 local Philadelphia studios from the comfort of your own home!
Teranga Yoga
Teranga Yoga is live-streaming yoga classes. You can sign up on the MindBody App for $25 a week for unlimited classes, and $10 for a drop in. Yoga is a great way to relieve stress and anxiety while staying active!
Tuck Barre and Yoga
Tuck Barre and Yoga live streams barre, yoga, and meditation classes on their Facebook and Instagram pages. All classes are free and the studio posts its weekly schedule on its Instagram at the end of each week. No equipment needed except for a chair and occasionally a paper towel roll.
Philly Power Yoga and Thrive Pilates
Philly Power Yoga and Thrive Pilates live streams its yoga, pilates, and sculpting classes via Zoom. Anyone is welcome to register via their website, and they accept registration up to a half-hour before the scheduled class.
Hot Yoga Philadelphia
Hot Yoga offers daily yoga classes online and free special events via online meetings. Classes are $7 or whatever you can spare during this time, and the schedule is on their website.
Chestnut Hill Cycle Fitness
CHCF had each instructor post daily workouts for a week, and they are highlighted on the studio’s Instagram page. You also can take their Barre, Sculpt, Cardio Strength, and HIIT classes via Zoom when you sign up on the MindBody app. There is a $10 drop-in rate and a $35 unlimited weekly rate. For those dedicated to their spin classes, you can also rent one of their bikes for a limited time while at home!
Check out our previous blog, 6 Ways To Get Fit From Home, for a few more ways you can be staying active at home! We wrote this blog in hopes of brightening your day with a little physical activity.
