Monday, January 13

  • The City of Philadelphia Office of Immigrant Affairs is celebrating South Korea with a Flag Raising Ceremony at City Hall. The Ceremony starts at 10 a.m. and all are welcome! Celebrate South Korea with the City of Brotherly Love!
  • Let’s go Flyers! Cheer on the Flyguys as they take on the Boston Bruins at the Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m. Fly like the Flyers over to Wells Fargo to get in on the action!
  • Restaurant week has officially begun! Find your favorite restaurants and eat your way through Philly as dinner and drink specials take over the city! Don’t forget your reservations! 

 

Tuesday, January 14

  • Chili’s of Philadelphia is hosting a Daddy Daughter Date Night. Bring your dad, or your daughter, and bond over food. Chili’s is providing a free dessert to share for any daddy daughter duo that takes advantage of this promotion!   
  • Art in the Age is hosting a Glass Etching Workshop at their location in Old City. Bring a friend to enjoy some cocktails and learn to engrave your very own cocktail glasses. 

 

Wednesday, January 15

  • Africana Studies at Penn is hosting their 2020 MLK Lecture featuring Angela Davis and Gina Dent at The Annenberg Center for the PRFMG Arts. Reserve your spot to attend this event to remember Martin Luther King Jr. before his birthday. 
  • The Eagles season might be over, but the Sixers are still in it to win it! Head over to the Wells Fargo Center to watch the 76ers take on the Brooklyn Nets. The game starts at 7 p.m. Don’t be late!
  • Pinot Boutique is hosting a Bold Reds for Winter wine tasting and you’re invited. The cold weather affects everything we do. From what we wear and where we go to what we eat and drink. Taste some winter reds and find what suits you.  

 

Thursday, January 16

  • Wine School of Philadelphia is hosting a Natural Wine Class at 7:30 p.m. Learn about all things natural wine. Sip and learn and savor every minute of it. 
  • We love a good Thursday outing! Ron Pope is performing at The Fillmore. This independent artist has fresh new music for you to enjoy. Tickets are on sale, but won’t last long! 
  • Join Philly in cheering on the Flyers as they take on the Montreal Canadiens at the Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m. 

 

Friday, January 17

  • The 22nd Annual Philadelphia Tattoo Convention is underway! This weekend, head over to the Pennsylvania Convention Center to see some awesome art created by amazing artists. Look around, or get inked yourself! 
  • The Ardmore Music Hall is hosting the all-girl band LEZ ZEPPELIN. Get your tickets to sing along to some of your favorite Led Zeppelin songs sung by some amazing women!
  • WHYY is celebrating and remembering the iconic speech of Martin Luther King Jr. and you’re invited to attend and participate in the discussion. Conversations of King: Keep Moving From This Mountain will be a moving and relevant discussion. 
  • Head over to the Wells Fargo Center to cheer on the Sixers as they take on the Chicago Bulls. Get there at 7 p.m. so you won’t miss out on any of the action! 

 

Saturday, January 18

  • Crawling in your onesie? Oh baby! Boozin’ in Your Onesie Bar Crawl is in Philly and all are welcome. Wear your favorite onesie and check out the different bars with specials all day long! 
  • Happy Lunar New Year! It’s the year of the Rat! Reading Terminal Market in collaboration with Chinatown Development Corporation is celebrating the Lunar New Year with festive food, music and dancing. The event is open to the public so make like a rat and scurry on down to Reading Terminal Market!
