Halloween is over and the holiday craziness hasn’t arrived. That means tons of time to check out what’s going on #ThisWeekInPhilly. From the grand opening of the Dilworth Park winter ice rink to Philly fall bar crawls, the first week of November in Philly can’t be beat. Monday, November 4
  • Come knot yourself a new blanket at AR Workshop’s Blankets and Brews! Join the pop-up event at Love City Brewing to enjoy some brews while crafting the ultimate chunky knit blanket for the upcoming winter season.
  • With Edible Alphabet in Italiano learning Italian has never been more fun! This Culinary Literacy Center hands-on cooking class offers the chance for participants to make authentic Italian food from scratch, while also brushing up on their Italian language skills.
  • Join TransWork as they host a second job fair in partnership with Independence Blue Cross. TransWork: Careers at IBX is a great opportunity to hear more about the culture at Independence Blue Cross and speak directly with representatives from Human Resources.
Tuesday, November 5
  • Adventure is out there and it’s at Goose Island Brewery for Disney Pixar Trivia! Come test your knowledge on all things Toy Story, Up, The Incredibles, and everything in between to find out just how big of a Pixar fan you truly are. 
  • Join Ploughman Cider and Mighty Melt in celebrating Philly Cider Week at their Flights and Bites, hosted at The Bourse. Enjoy a flight of 3 ciders paired with a variety of cider-inspired bites and fruit.
Wednesday, November 6
  • Join the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator for an evening of fashion, philanthropy, and fun at their The Future of Fashion is Philadelphia fundraiser at Joan Shepp. All proceeds will directly benefit the fashion incubator, and cocktails and hor d’oeuvres will be served as you celebrate! 
  • Head over to Herman’s Coffee to join Caracol Florals for another Pumpkin Succulent Workshop. This DIY class allows participants to create a one of a kind succulent and pumpkin centerpieces for fall. Classes are BYO-friendly! 
Thursday, November 7
  • Cheer on the Flyers as they take on the Montreal Canadiens at the Wells Fargo Center at 7pm.
  • Join the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame for their 16th Annual Induction Ceremony and Reception at SugarHouse Casino. Enjoy a night of cocktails, hor d’oeuvres, and honoring Philly sports legends in the Inductee Class of 2019! 
Friday, November 8
  • Music icon, Elton John brings his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour to the Wells Fargo Center, for an epic two-night concert experience. The show starts at 8pm. 
  • Celebrate the start of the 2019 winter season at Dilworth Park’s Fire and Ice Festival. With live performers and hand-carved ice sculptures, this is a grand opening event for the Rothman Orthopedics Ice Rink and Cabin that you don’t want to miss!
  • Come Together with the Philly POPS for a 50th anniversary celebration of the Beatles’ final album, Abbey Road. POPS Rocks Abbey Road at The Kimmel Center is a three-day event featuring acclaimed Beatles tribute band, Classical Mystery Tour.
Saturday, November 9
  • Shop for a vintage wardrobe at Liberty Flea Market at the BOK Building in South Philly. This is the place to choose from over hundreds of antiques, home decor, furniture, vintage clothing, and handmade artisan goods… all while enjoying delicious food vendors.
  • Come celebrate autumn in the city at the seventh annual Philly Fall Crawl. With drink specials, free cover at the bars, cool t-shirts, giveaways, and a scavenger hunt, this is a bar crawl worth attending.
  • Channel your inner stallion and join thousands of runners in Philadelphia for the official Rocky Run 5K, 10 Mile, and the 13.1 Italian Stallion Challenge.

Sunday, November 10
