Beautiful spring weather seems finally here to stay. This means Philly is blooming with an abundance of outdoor beer gardens, dining al fresco, and flea markets. Find those events and much more happening #ThisWeekInPhilly! 

Monday, April 22
  • Zumba is back at Dilworth Park! Enjoy free classes on Monday evenings from 6-7pm. Expert instructor Dwayne Townsend from Optimal Sport 1315* will lead these fitness sessions.
  • Head to the Trocadero for GLASS showing for Movie Monday. Tickets are $3 and can be put towards food and drinks.
  • If you couldn’t make it last week, there is still time for Manayunk Restaurant Week. Participating restaurants will serve up dishes for fixed menu prices: $15, $25, and $35.
Tuesday, April 23
  • Fitness is easier when it’s free! Get into shape with a boot camp class every Tuesday evening from 6-7 pm, led by professional trainer Guy Nanni, Fitness Coach from Optimal Sport 1315.*
  • Test to see if you would have been accepted to Hogwarts at Harry Potter Book Trivia Night at Goose Island Brewhouse.
  • Cheer on the Sixers as they play Game 5 against the Nets at the Wells Fargo Center.
Wednesday, April 24
  • Fashion Revolution Week is coming to Philly! Meet companies in the Philadelphia area working on ethics and sustainability in the fashion industry. Plus, enjoy complimentary tastings from local breweries.
  • Parks on Tap is kicking off the 2019 season at The Azalea Garden between Boathouse Row and the Philadelphia Museum of Art at 1pm. Use a valid SEPTA Key/pass/employee ID and receive $1 off your first drink.
  • Join Atlas Obscura Society Philadelphia for their Tarot Gardens event at Philadelphia Magic Gardens. Explore the origins of tarot and its influence on the art world.
Thursday, April 25
  • One of our favorite places to hang out in summer is returning for the season! Independence Beer Garden is having their first day opening at 11am.
  • Based on Mark Haddon’s best-selling novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time comes to the Walnut Street Theatre. This Tony Award winning story is a thrilling, heartwarming, and uplifting adventure for all ages.   
  • Cheer on the Phillies as they play against the Marlins at 7:05pm at Citizen’s Bank Park.
Friday, April 26
  • Honor local female leaders who inspire in the fields of technology, media, culture, and business at the 5th annual Rad Awards.
  • The Academy of Natural Sciences hosts Dinos after Dark. This event has tons of  family activities and a beer garden in Dinosaur Hall for the adults.
  • Johnny Brenda’s presents &More, the duo group consisting of Chill Moody* & Donn T. The show starts at 9pm with special guests including Great Time and Dahi Divine.
  • Relax after a long week at Positano Coast’s Oyster and Prosecco Fridays. Specials include $6 glasses of prosecco and $6 for 6 chef’s choice oysters.
  • Start your weekend of with the a hot dog at Citizen’s Bank Park to watch the Phillies play against the Marlins.
Saturday, April 27
  • Enjoy the beauty of nature at the Philly Butterfly Festival hosted by Philadelphia Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion. This family friendly event will have gardening workshops, raising demos, live butterfly releases, arts and crafts, face painting, live music, and more!
  • Liberty Flea features a collection of vintage and artisan treasures at the BOK Building. $5 admission gets you access to one-of-a-kind antiques, home decor, furniture, vintage clothing, handmade artisan goods, and food vendors. Dogs are welcome!
  • If you missed Clean Ocean Action’s 34th Annual Spring Beach Sweeps on April 13, there are a couple more you can still attend. Head to Galloway (at the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge) or Ocean City Music Pier to help rid the beautiful Jersey Shore of harmful debris.
  • The West Craft Fest is back at The Woodlands in West Philly for spring! This free festival will give you the chance to shop artisan jewelry, handmade ceramics, clothing, accessories, prints, stationery, soaps, candles, children’s items, homewares, and more.
  • Find your zen with some furry friends at Puppy Yoga! Morris Animal Refuge and Amrita Yoga South are excited to bring you another set of these fun sessions.
  • Plastic Cup Boyz, best known as Kevin Hart’s opening act, brings its stand-up comedy to SugarHouse Casino at 8 pm.The duo has starred in numerous televisions specials, including multiple appearances on Comedy Central that will have you laughing out loud all night.
Sunday, April 28
  • Join hundreds of runners and walkers as they lace up their sneakers for the Run Wild for the Zoo 5K at Philadelphia Zoo. Go through the beautiful and unique campus, enjoy fun activities and entertainment, and stop by your favorite exhibit.
  • Come hungry and ready to try something new at Flavors on the Avenue! This foodie event returns with five blocks of street food, seasonal sips, craft beer, live music, sidewalk sales, and free family fun.
  • Philly Vegan Restaurant Week begins. Participating restaurants around the city will offer a special menu item or a prix fixe vegan menu consisting of dishes that best represent that establishment. A portion of the proceeds from the week will be donated Misfit Manor.
  • Don’t miss the last evening of Roni Koresh’s newest work at the Koresh Kouture Gala, inspired by Matisse’s artwork. This event includes a performance at 6:30pm with a reception to follow. Enjoy an evening of food, drinks courtesy of YARDS Brewing Company and Philadelphia Distilling, and fashion displays.
