Goodbye February, Hello March! Spring is on it’s way, we’re hoping the weather catches up!

Monday, February 25

  • Come hungry to Haute Restaurant and Lounge for Cooking for the Culture. They’re presenting an 8 course menu composed by local up-and-coming African American chefs.
  • Devil’s Den is holding a Wine Bottle Succulent Workshop with Terrarium Therapy. All upcycled materials will be provided to make a beautiful statement piece.  
  • Meet at Philadelphia Runner in Center City for Run to Yoga. Meet at 6 pm for a 30 minute group run around the city followed by a dynamic hour-long yoga flow.
  • South Philly’s Brewery ARS is holding a Beer and Cheese Experience where you can hang out and learn from cheese guru Matt Buddah. Get a lesson on how to pair cheese and beer at home, as well as plating tips and condiment pairings.

Tuesday, February 26

  • Join fellow professional women for an evening of networking and socializing at Wine Tasting at The Pyramid Club. Tickets include a tastings of up to six wines with light bites and beautiful city views.
  • Explore the chemistry, physics, and mathematics of love and lust during the February edition of Science After Hours. This 21+ event will be comprised of interactive science, hands-on activities, and guided presentations.
  • Cheer on the Flyers playing against the Sabres at 7pm at the Wells Fargo Center.

Wednesday, February 27

  • Get your tickets while they are still available to see Chelsea Cutler perform at the The Theater of Living Arts.
  • Get in your feelings at Drake Night: So Far Gone at The Fillmore. Tickets are available in advance or on the night of the show.

Thursday, February 28

  • All running enthusiast and Philly lovers, join Philly Squared Run for a 4-mile run with SeePhillyRun. Have fun learning something new about your city while getting a workout in!
  • If you love Netflix’s Queer Eye, come see TV personality and hairstylist to the stars, Jonathan Van Ness’ Road to Beijing comedy tour. The Emmy nominated star is coming to Tower Theater in Upper Darby.
  • Get a glimpse of The Women’s Film Festival 2019 at the Preview Party at Positano Coast. Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, drink specials, networking opportunities, and a special peek of the films. The upcoming Festival will begin March 14 and run until March 23.

Friday, March 1

  • Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is returning to Philadelphia! The Kimmel Center is hosting the company of extraordinary dancers celebrating the human spirit through African-American cultural experience and modern American dance tradition. They will be performing Friday and Saturday.
  • Celebrate music and talent of two musical legends at Voltage Lounge. The Prince & Michael Jackson DJ Dance Party will be a party you won’t want to miss!

Saturday, March 2

  • The city’s favorite beautiful botanical event is back! The Philadelphia Flower Show is going on all weekend at the PA Convention Center. Immerse yourself in this year’s retro Flower Power theme.
  • See for yourself why Forbes Traveler named The Philly Craft Beer Festival one of the “Top 10 Beer Festivals in America”! This 21+ event will showcase more than 75 of the best local and national craft breweries, serving over 200 different beers.
  • Puppies are one of our favorite prescription for stress! Unwind and practice self-care at Puppy Yoga at Amrita South’s new location. Registration is $25 and all proceeds benefit Morris Animal Refuge.
