Monday, December 31

  • Get your tickets and ring in the new year at Union Transfer’s Making Time New Year’s Eve 2019 and experience the futuristic musical transcendence of Dave P., Zillas on Acid, LISAS, Greg D, St. Vena, and Russell Alexander.
  • A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie takes over the Franklin Music Hall with Hardwork Movement and Pretty Girls Like Trap. Don’t miss this New Years Eve performance.
  • Don’t miss NYE Live! New Year’s Eve Philadelphia 2019 at Xfinity. Tickets include access to five amazing venues and five party-filled hours to help you ring in the New Year in style.
  • Say goodbye to 2018 at NYE 19 at Mad River. Tickets include a 5 hour premium open bar, a live DJ performance, party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight.
  • You’re invited to Porta’s* first Masquerade New Year’s Eve Party Carnival of Venice. Ring in the new year with good people, good music, and even better pizza.

Tuesday, January 1

  • Spend New Year’s Day at Philadelphia’s beloved Mummers Day Parade. Experience the long-standing tradition that has made its ways into the heart of Philadelphians.
  • Grab a bite to eat at Vesper Sporting Club’s New Year’s Day Brunch. Eat, drink, and be merry with endless mimosas and a delicious brunch menu.
  • On New Year’s Day at McGillin’s stop by for Irish coffee, hot (spiked) cocoa, hot (spiked) cider or a regional beer and watch the bowl games. McGillin’s will be opening their doors an hour early at 10 am.

Wednesday, January 2

  • Dilworth Parks hosts Cocktails and Cold Ones. Enjoy an evening at Rothman Cabin sipping $6 cocktails, $5 wines, and $4 beers, along with specially priced food items.
  • Wednesday nights Lululemon x BPM Fitness will be leading a Full Body Burn class at BPM Fitness at 5:45 pm. The class will consist of 1/2 cycling, and 1/2 functional training circuits that will align with your new year goals.
  • Join Brickwall Tavern* every Tuesday at 8 pm for Quizzoholics for a chance to win a Brickwall $50 Gift Card. They can’t wait to push a bunch of “smart asses against each other in the ultimate competition of useless knowledge!”
  • Join Devil’s Den for a night of Holiday Quizzo – sponsored by Lincoln Square. Blow off some steam with friends after all the hustle and bustle of the holidays.

Thursday, January 3

  • Cheer on your Philadelphia Flyers as they take on the Carolina Hurricanes at 7 pm. The game is also hosting a special Love Your Melon Purple Hat Night.
  • Every Thursday from November 22 until February 21 put away the textbooks because its College Nights at Dilworth Park. Students with a valid student ID will pay $2 admission to the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute Rink.
  • DJ DeeJay presents Get’cha Head in the Game, a Disney themed karaoke and dance party at The Fillmore. Tickets are available in advance and night of show at the door!
  • Ashton John along with Carson Miller and Tom Monari host Philadelphia’s Best Open Mic every Thursday upstairs at McGillin’s Olde Ale House. Hear Philadelphia’s best original local artists perform their own original material as well as popular classics.

Friday, January 4

  • Join Philly Art Collective and HERspace Arts for a Women’s Wellness Weekend. Kick off the first weekend in 2019 participating in art and restorative practices such as a Kundalini workshop and Paper Quilling.
  • Come out to A Novel Idea on Passyunk for their Grand Opening and Thirty West Publishing House reading. Hear from an awesome lineup of performers for the evening that include Scott Laudati, Erin Anastasia, Kat Giordano, and more!
  • The Philadelphia Orchestra presentes Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Celebrate the world’s most beloved Looney Tunes and their legendary stars projected on the big screen.
  • Vinchelle hosts Drag Race Viewing Parties Every Friday 7PM at Woody’s. The evening consists of drink specials, giveaways, contests, and fun!

Saturday, January 5

  • Attention brides! The Pennsylvania Bridal & Wedding Expo will take place at the Philadelphia Convention Center today and tomorrow. Come and find everything you’ll need to have the perfect wedding day in one place.
  • Cheer on the Philadelphia Flyers as they take on the Calgary Flames at the Wells Fargo Center at 1 pm.
  • Go back in time for one night only at The Fillmore’s Drop It Like It’s Hot. All night long DJ KAZ will play the best and worst of the iconic 2000s.
  • The TLA honors American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and filmmaker Prince at The Prince Experience. This tribute band performance includes all of Prince’s hits, including the Purple Rain era.
  • Welcome to the Movement! Cheer on your Philadelphia 76ers as they take on the Dallas Mavericks at Wells Fargo Center at 7:30 pm.

Sunday, January 6

  • The Mexican Consulate and the Mexican Cultural Center invite you to experience a reenactment of the story Three Kings Day at The Kimmel Center. Enjoy an evening of activities, piñatas and a piece of traditional “Rosca de Reyes” bread, which will be the largest one ever made in Philadelphia!
  • Stop by Milkboy on South Street for Quizzo every Sunday at 8 pm. This week’s trivia will be inspired by the comedy It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
  • On the first Sunday of every month The Philadelphia Museum of Art admission hosts a Pay What You Wish Family Festival. Create your own shield, handle real armor, and draw knights in honor of this month’s theme Days of Knights.
  • Every first Sunday of the month, PECO offers free admission to The Barnes Foundation for PECO’s Free First Sunday Family Day. Visitors will have access to the collection and #BertheMorisot: Woman Impressionist.
