As Thanksgiving gets closer and closer there are more and more events happening #ThisWeekInPhilly. Week of November 19th
- Come to witness the premiere of Dilworth Park’s Deck the Hall Light Show presented by Independence Blue Cross at 5:30 pm. Every night until January 1 watch as dazzling lights and holiday music bring City Hall to life.
- Create holiday traditions this winter at Linvilla Orchards and cut your own Christmas tree. Spend your day enjoying a winter wonderland which includes Christmas shopping and caroling hayrides.
- Xfinity Live! presents the Radio 104.5 Miller Lite Mystery Show. Tickets are available to download. Must be 21 or older to attend
- Learn how to roll your own sushi with Chef John at Bourbon Blue. No experience is required and all of the equipment and ingredients will be provided.
- Weekdays from 12 pm – 2 pm stop by Lucky Strike Lunch and Bowl for complimentary lunch and bowling.
Tuesday, November 20th
- The Piazza & Bistro Planet brings you Food Truck Tuesdays. Each week from 5 pm – 8 pm order ahead and experience Philly’s best food trucks. This week will feature Jeremiah’s Custom Cuisine.
- Philly DevOps Monthly Meetup will be held at the Comcast Center at 6:30. This group believes in bridging the gap between development and operations.
- ILLExotics invites you to a BYO Terrarium Building Workshop. Participants can choose to build a tropical or desert style terrarium.
Wednesday, November 21st
- Have A Very Philadelphia Holiday this holiday season at One Liberty Observation Deck. From November 21 to January 1 experience holiday favorites such as Miracle on 13th Street, The Nutcracker Ballet, and Mummer’s Parade while enjoying breathtaking views of the city.
- Dilworth Parks hosts Cocktails and Cold Ones. Enjoy an evening at Rothman Cabin sipping $6 cocktails, $5 wines, $4 beers, along with specially priced food items.
- It’s the annual Sikh Heritage Night with the 76ers. All proceeds go to help OneProjectNJ in their quest to end childhood hunger.
Thursday, November 22nd
- Every Thursday from November 22 until February 21 put away the textbooks because its College Night at Dilworth Park. Students with a valid student ID will pay $2 admission to the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute Rink.

- This season Christmas Village in Philadelphia transforms LOVE Park into an authentic German Christmas market. From Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve shoppers are invited to create and spread holiday cheer.

Friday, November 23rd
- The grand opening of Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest celebrates 25 years! Opening weekend festivities include a Christmas tree stand and holiday market.
- Santa Claus is Coming to Town! Dilworth Park’s Santa Express welcomes Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves to the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute Ice Rink. Spend a day skating with Santa before he goes back to the North Pole.
- Catch rapper Pusha T on his Daytona Tour Part 2 perform at The Fillmore. Tickets to the show are available via LiveNation.
- Ritz at the Bourse presents Suspiria, the first chapter of Dario Argento’s “Three Mothers” Trilogy. Tickets to the show are available via Landmark Theaters.
- Cheer on the Gritty and the Philadelphia Flyers as they take on the New York Rangers at Wells Fargo Center at 1 pm.
- The Barbary hosts a Totally 80s Party. Spend the night dancing and singing to artists such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, Prince, Whitney Houston, and more.
Saturday, November 24th
- Spend your night singing and dancing to Drake’s most popular hits at Drake Night hosted by The Fillmore. Tickets are available in advance and at the door.
- Comedian Kevin Hart stops by the Wells Fargo Center for The Irresponsible Tour. The Philly born and raised comedian is sure to have the crowd laughing all night.
- SiriusXM presents The Brian Setzer Orchestra’s 15th Anniversary “Christmas Rocks” Tour at the Academy of Music. Spend an evening enjoying the swing and jump blues band. Tickets to the concert are available via The Kimmel Center.
- The Trocadero Theatre hosts BenDeLaCreme aka “DeLa.” The RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Star will perform her critically acclaimed solo show, Inferno A-Go-Go.
- Philly Art Collective invites you to attend PhillyHUE: a queer art collaborative. This free exhibit will showcase the work of queer artists, along with complimentary refreshments and live music.
Sunday, November 25th
