Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Sittin’ In with Johnny Popcorn

Come see who is Sittin’ In for a new monthly performance filled with an array of jazz-infused freestyle hip hop. The unpredictable night is full of twist and turns. While some parts will be rehearsed, others will be completely improvised. The evening features the sounds of Philadelphia’s Johnny Popcorn, the three-piece rock band that features vocals from Hezekiah and Jani Coral. Their innovative sound and direction ignites shows with emotional driven songs. Johnny Popcorn has opened for the likes of Bilal, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and more!
PHILADANCO: Choreographers on the Move

PHILADANCO showcases how live actions dancers has impacted the television dance competition craze. This not-to-be-missed performance features two world premiere works, Huggins’ The Chosen and Waves from Myers. Rediscover old favorite, the evolution of dance, and how choreographers has been impacted by the popularization of television dance shows. Experience the incomparable legacy of African American choreographers that have a story to tell through dance!
Napoleon Dynamite: A Conversation with Jon Heder, Efren Ramirez & Tina Majorino

It’s hard to believe that the indie classic “Napoleon Dynamite” debuted almost 15 years ago. Join the cast for a unique evening that includes a full screening of the film. Then, it will be followed by a moderated discussion with Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Efren Ramirez (Pedro) and Tina Majorino (Deb). Come out to relive the laughter that appeals to the inner-teenager in all of us!
The Rock School Presents Nutcracker 1776

This Christmas story begins right after Thanksgiving with this revolutionary adaptation.
