Monday, July 10

  • For a limited time only, indulge in pasta and seafood with Spaghetti and Crabs at Little Nonna’s. Chef Marcie Turney is serving up a two course meal at her Midtown Village Italian eatery for $35 a person.
  • Play at Philly’s own waterfront boardwalk attractions at the Midway at Summerfest. Tonight debuts the park’s newest attraction, Pharoah’s Fury! Ride the swinging boat ride before it’s gone on July 23.

Tuesday, July 11

  • Franklin Institute Science After Hours is an event series exclusively for adults 21+ featuring experiments, demonstrations, games, and more. This week the Franklin Institute is going back to the 60s with a groovy and psychedelic science exploration.
  • Grammy Award-winning artist, Ed Sheeran North American Tour will light up the Wells Fargo Center. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 12

  • PNC presents Live @ Lunch. Enjoy live music by members of Prometheus Chamber Orchestra at Dilworth Park. This series will showcase local music every Wednesday in July from 12 to 1:30 p.m.   
  • Pop-Up in the Plaza is an open air market at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. This public program in Lenfest Plaza features delicious food, lively music, student art work, handmade jewelry, home goods, and more.  
  • Films, eats, and drinks at waterfront Haas Biergarten… now that’s a proper movie night out. La Peg Brasserie at FringeArts present the Louis Bluver Outdoor Movie Series. Catch a free movie screening of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. 

Thursday, July 13

  • We all know who runs the world: girls! Philadelphia businesswomen are working everyday to change our city for the better. Hear their personal stories of leadership at the Women Changing the City Breakfast Event at the Free Library of Philadelphia. Amy Buckman will be moderating a panel featuring Yvette D. Bright, Deborah Diamond, Kathryn Ott Lovell, and Stephanie Resnick.
  • Pairings on the Parkway is a BYOB event featuring weekly live singer-songwriter style performances at Sister Cities Park. Logan Square Cafe offers a special summer grill menu and Chaddsford Winery will be on-site selling wine by-the-glass or bottle.
  • Looking for an out of this world evening? Join Franklin Institute Chief Astronomer Derrick Pitts for Night Skies in the Observatory. Grab a free star map and stargaze at the universe’s stars, planets, and nebulae! This rooftop experience features a cash bar.  
  • Screenings under the Stars at Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing presents LaLa Land. The movie will begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. Don’t forget to pack your favorite snacks and a blanket!

Friday, July 14

  • Experience spoken word from the country’s fiercest women poets and Black Arts Movement pioneers at The Ultimate Supa Sistas! with Ursula Rucker, Sonia Sanchez and Jessica Care Moore at the African American Museum in Philadelphia. The event is hosted by Philadelphia’s own Ursula Rucker.
  • University City Dining Days returns! This special offering pre-fixe three course dinners for $15, $25, or $35. Dine at old favorites or try new restaurants like CO-OP* before the deals end on July 23.
  • The Zac Brown Band performs at the BB&T Pavilion on July 14 and 15. The show includes performances by Darrell Scott and Carolina Jones. Concert kicks off at 7 p.m.
  • Priya Hot Yoga is hosting the Beyonce Yoga Experience. Expect to sweat, dance, and sing in this entertaining yoga class. Your fiercest Beyonce attire is encouraged!

Saturday, July 15

  • The Philadelphia Summer Craft Beer and Music Festival at Xfinity LIVE features over 200 beers to taste, both indoor and outdoor beer gardens, food trucks, live music and more!
  • Bastille Day Festival at Eastern State Penitentiary is shaking up Fairmount Avenue. The Bearded Ladies have teamed up with Eastern State to present the entire French Revolution. Prepare yourself for free performances, ginormous attractions, and more all day long!
  • Spruce Street Harbor Park hosts Art Star Pop Up Market every Saturday. Spend the afternoon shopping at more than 20 curated art and crafts vendors with food, beer, games, live entertainment, and the iconic hammocks!
  • The 11th annual Lancaster Avenue Jazz Festival celebrates the “New Wave of Jazz” offering an afternoon full of free music from more than 40 emerging and next generation musicians. This year’s lineup includes Josh Lawrence, Matthew Clayton, Lee Mo, and many more.

Sunday, July 16

  • Actress, singer, and songwriter, Idina Menzel brings her 2017 world tour to the BB&T Pavilion. Watch the Tony-award winner
  • Are you ready to bring it? Miss D and her dolls are dancing live at the Merriam Theatre. The cast of Lifetime TV’s hit show, Bring It, are bringing southern hip-hop and majorette to Philly. Be a part of the audience for the chance to ask questions and receive exclusive behind-the-scenes info about the show!
