Grab your scarves and stilettos! Once again, our city celebrates the upcoming fall fashion season with the Philadelphia Collection. More than 40 designers and boutiques will participate this year, and a countless number of Philly fashionistas will wander the streets wondering what events they should be attending. To help our all you fashionistas out there, we narrowed the list down to our top 10 events we’re dying to go to! (Although we will probably hit ALL the events up!)
- Philadelphia Fashion Incubator Runway Show
October 7, 1:00 p.m.
1300 Market St, Philadelphia
The Philadelphia Collection kicks off the week with Macy’s Fall Fashion show. Make sure to stick around afterwards for a sneak peak of the latest collection from the Incubator’s up-and-coming designers!
- Metro Men’s Clothing Trunk Show
October 7, 4 – 9:00 p.m.
1600 East Passyunk Ave, Philadelphia
For all of our fashionable men in the city, Metro Men’s Clothing will host a trunk show at their store featuring wares from the British street brand, Fred Perry. British inspired cocktails and beer will be served to honor the designer.

Greene Street gives you money for the clothes that are hanging in the back of your closet that you no longer wear. And they’re on a mission to make everyone look stylish, no matter the budget. Stop by this event to get a fashion makeover from their bloggers!

- Uomo Moderno Fashion Show from Italy
October 8, 8 – 11:00 p.m.
1221 St James St, Philadelphia
This fashion show is guaranteed to be a bella noche! Uomo Moderno Magazine, the first and only fashion magazine from Italy, presents a fashion show full of avant-garde presentations and fashion vignettes. The event also raises money for local children without healthcare.
6. Philadelphia Fashion Alliance S/S 2016 Collection presentation and Shopping Event
October 11, 1:00 p.m.
251 S 18th St, Philadelphia
The Philadelphia Fashion Alliance supports the designers from the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator and provides them with the resources they need as they move forward in their success. To commend their launch, guests are welcomed to the Wetherill Mansion, and will be treated to a shopping experience filled with presentations from some of the city’s most beloved and admired designers.
- NAVEDA Exclusive VIP and Press Preview
October 12, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
1901 Callowhill St, Philadelphia
NAVEDA* is a successful start up brand tailored to the fashionable, wanderlust woman. Members of the press and VIPs are welcomed to the Granary Apartments to get a sneak peak of NAVEDA’s latest designs through a small fashion presentation.
- Chloe Johnston Pop Up Trunk Show at Ellelauri
October 13, 6 – 9:00 p.m.
114 South 19th St, Philadelphia
Fashion and lifestyle expert and founder of Chloe Johnston Experiences*, Chloe Johnston will showcase some of her Parisian vintage fashion and accessories at 2015 Best of Philly winner Ellelauri. Guests are also welcome to shop through Ellelauri’s sophisticated and graceful products.

Make it work! The Fashion Group International welcomes some of the most memorable designers from the hit reality competition to gather at the Moore College of Art and Design and share with guests their experiences about the show and in the fashion world.

Close out the week with a bang at Joan Shepp’s Rittenhouse locale. The legendary Philadelphia fashion designer and icon welcomes guests into her boutique, as models will walk the store wearing their latest designs, as guest enjoy wine and champagne. Cheers to that!
