How would you like to enjoy some of the best burgers in town while cheering on our Philadelphia Eagles in their first matchup of the season against the Atlanta Falcons? Presented by Budweiser, Philadelphia Magazine is hosting their 3rd annual Battle of the Burger event on Monday, September 14 at the 23rd Street Armory.
Daily voting began on July 13, pitting some of the best restaurants against one another for the title of best burger in Philly. 40 participating restaurants entered the competition, and now that voters have had their say, only half of those participants will have a spot at the main event!
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for attendees to begin getting their grub on. Since the featured burgers were voted the top 20 best burgers in the Philadelphia area, we advise wearing that oversized Eagles jersey and your stretchiest pants. What’s more, Philadelphia Magazine is bringing the Rioja Lounge, equipped with the best wines from La Rioja’s region. Also look forward to sampling two Tennessee whiskeys at the Jack Daniel’s Sampling Station, and make lasting memories at the Ball Park Photo Booth all during the live competition.
Picture it: a burger in one hand, a Budweiser in the other, and our Philadelphia Eagles on the television screens. Seriously, what better way to bring in the football season?
