Monday, September 14

  • Philadelphia Magazine’s Battle of the Burger is back! So get ready to get your grub on at the 3rd annual cook off, presented by Budweiser®. This year’s Battle is tailgate themed and includes samplings of the top 20 competing burgers. The event begins at 6 p.m. at the 23rd Street Armory.
  • Get your tickets for the Phillies vs. the Nationals at Citizens Bank Park!  The first pitch will be thrown at 7:05 p.m.
  • Manayunk Restaurant Week  starts today and runs until September 25th!

Tuesday, September 15

  • Here is a unique networking event at the Pyramid Club.  Hosted by the Walnut Club, be prepared to reveal some interesting facts! The event will provide some practical and easy tips to navigate your next networking event, including how to prep for events and what to ask once you are there.
  • Of Monsters and Men is on their North American tour, performing their second album, Beneath the Skin. They are coming to the Mann Center at 7 p.m. tonight! Get your tickets here.
  • Join the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund* for this week’s Our Night Out at the Uptown Beer Garden.  Enjoy a SIPS like event to supporting the AIDS Law Project, which helps provides free legal services to Pennsylvanians with HIV/AIDS. Event starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m.

Wednesday, September 16

  • Need to build your network? Look no further! Mix at Six features a “mix”of entrepreneurs, business owners, young professionals, and decision makers in Philadelphia. Make your way to the 1925 Cocktail Lounge at 6 sharp if interested!

Thursday, September 17

  • The Twisted Tail will be hosting their 2nd annual Whiskey Bonanza in honor of Bourbon Heritage Month. You will have access to  60+ whiskeys and live music! The event runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Starting at 8 p.m., food trucks will be on the scene for the hungry!
  • The Alabama Shakes are coming to the Mann Center, touring their newest album, Sound and Color. Get your tickets now.  
  • Get ready for one of the funnest and cheapest festivals returning this fall! The Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll features local businesses with $1 deals, ranging from local bites to eat, fashion and even theater tickets! It takes place in University City’s Baltimore Avenue between 43rd and 51st Street. The festival kicks off at 5:30 p.m.

Friday, September 18

  • Celebrate the season at the PHS Pop Up Gardens Fall Festival, September 18 through 20. The Festival offers people of all ages activities and entertainment! The pop up garden is located at 15th & South Streets and 9th & Wharton Streets.
  • Believe it or not, but Halloween will be here before you know it, and to start the Halloween season off, Terror Behind the Walls is back for its 25th year at the Eastern State Penitentiary. If you are looking to get your scare on early, here is your chance!

Saturday, September 19

  • Get ready because the 20th Annual Sippin’ by the River is back, taking place right on the water at the River Deck. This event benefits the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. This event features wine, beers, music, and each guest gets a keepsake glass! It runs from 1 p.m to 5 p.m.
  • Join the fight against cancer tonight at the eighth annual Cocktails Against Cancer at the Old Pine Community Center. The country fair themed event will run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., featuring food, drinks, and some square dancing! All proceeds will be donated to various organizations such as Philadelphia Ronald McDonald Camp for Kids with Cancer and Cancer Support Community of Philadelphia.

Sunday, September 20

  • Brazil is coming to Philadelphia! The Brazilian Day Festival  is from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Penn’s Landing, Great Plaza. You can help celebrate the Brazilian Independence Day with food, dancing, music! Enjoy this family fun and free event while learning about the diverse ethnic heritage that makes Brazil unique.
  • It’s the rivalry of the season, with the Eagles facing the Cowboys. Get your green gear and support the birds! Kickoff is at 4:25 p.m. at the Lincoln Financial Field.
  • The Queen of Motown is coming to the City of Brotherly Love!  Diana Ross will be performing at the Mann Center at 7:30 p.m. Get your tickets here!
