Monday, February 23
- The Wolf Performing Arts Center is hosting an Adults’ Night Out one night only from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Tickets to join are $35, but bring a friend and you can get a $5 discount for a night of improvisation games, theatre exercises, and a ton of laughs!
- East Passyunk Restaurant Week began Sunday, February 22 and will end on Saturday, February 28. Don’t forget to make your reservation for a special lunch and/or dinner soon! (If you’re looking for a recommendation, definitely check out new hot spot Bing Bing Dim Sum.)
Tuesday, February 24
- Head to The Market & Shops at Comcast Center for a viewing of Hugh E. Dillon of Philly ChitChat’s most famous photographs between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.. Donations will be accepted at the door with proceeds benefiting Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation.
- Come see seven of the most incredible illusionists on earth perform hilarious magic tricks, death-defying stunts, and acts of breathtaking wonder. The show will be performed until March 1st at the Kimmel Center and tickets range from $20-$100.
- Our Night Out – Philly is hosting a night to mingle and network with Philadelphia’s finest. They are partnering with *Delaware Valley Legacy Fund, so come prepared to enjoy some light bites and live music at Brü, and learn more about the LGBTQ community and the Ally heroes that keep the community thriving.
Wednesday, February 25
- The Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia is hosting a five session program called Designing Leadership for emerging leaders in the for-profit creative and nonprofit arts sectors. Expert faculty from The Wharton School and seasoned consultants from IBM will ground participants in real-life scenarios and shared experiences so that they come away with a strong sense of purpose.
- Experience a comedy show like you’ve never experienced before. The Divorcees Club is a comedic portrayal of three very different divorced women forced to live together as each goes on a hunt for the perfect man. Don’t miss this hilarious show playing at the Penn’s Landing Playhouse at the Independence Seaport Museum until Sunday, March 22. Ticket prices range from $25-$55.
Thursday, February 26
- The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University is hosting a Mega-Bad Movie Night featuring Anaconda, showing at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for access to the open bar and plenty of eats, while designated drivers can pay $15.
- Come listen to the personal amazing stories of senior citizens at the Philadelphia Senior Center Auditorium. This month is a Black History Month Storytelling and A Best Day of My Life So Far Event. Admission is free for those who want to listen to these empowering stories!
Friday, February 27
- The Philadelphia Flower Show’s Black Tie Preview Party is the opportunity to don your finest attire and get the exclusive first-look at this year’s fanciful flowers, landscapes, and designs! Whether it’s for a date night or to entertain your clients, you don’t want to miss the opportunity to purchase tickets! If you’re not able to make it, you can still donate with proceeds going towards PHS City Harvest to feed families in need.
- Fringe Arts presents an energetic dance called “Rocco“, in which male fighter-dancers perform a close combat-choreography in a boxing match setting. Bear witness to an animalistic courtship of intelligence, masculinity and physicality – until somebody gets knocked out. Tickets range from $15-$50.
Saturday, February 28
- The Philadelphia Flower Show is back and ready to bloom! Come to the Flower Show and take part in a tradition that dates back to 1829. Held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from February 28th to March 8th, tickets are offered at discounted rates before the 28th, and will be marked at full price afterwards.
