On Friday, March 21, it will be a night to remember at the Please Touch Museum for children with cancer and their supporters. Conkerr Cancer is a charity that has been putting smiles on chronically ill children by sewing bright and cheery pillowcases for their hospital stays. Fittingly, the organization will be hosting a PJ Party from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m in their hometown of Philadelphia. Guests of all ages are welcome to come out to support a great cause and join in on a night of fun.
There will be so many activities the night of the event. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the entire Please Touch Museum including its two floors of interactive exhibit zones, ride the carousel, dance with the DJ, get their face painted, meet some Philadelphia Zoo animals, and much more! Special guests include former Philadelphia Eagles player and current WIP radio host Hollis Thomas along with Flyers alumni! Â Swoop, the Eagles mascot, Â will be in attendance as well and is sure to keep the crowd energetic.
Are you up for some friendly competition? If so, get a group together (up to any size) and participate in the “Group Challenge.” Simply fill out the Group Challenge Form located on the right side of the site. Each group will receive a code to track all the tickets sold. The group who sells the most tickets to the Conkerr Cancer PJ Party will win a framed pillowcase with their group’s name presented by a surprise guest! Each participant will need to purchase a ticket individually for $25. If you would like to buy an individual ticket, click here.
