Cirque Du Soleil’s TOTEM Wows Audience

Seeing a Cirque du Soleil show has been on my bucket list for some time now. When I heard they were bringing their show, TOTEM, to Camden, New Jersey I knew I had to go.  On Thursday May 30th I made my way over the Ben Franklin Bridge for Opening Night.  A little unfamiliar with neighborhood, but I knew I had arrived when I saw the big blue and yellow tent – otherwise known as the Grand Chapiteau on the Waterfront.

The show TOTEM has been playing since 2010 when it first opened in Montreal.   It is truly a magical journey through the evolution of mankind.  The performers, who are from all over the world, are beyond amazing.  I don’t want to go into too much detail because you should go into the show with an open mind. But make sure you go!  From the crystal man suspended from the top of the tent to hoop dancers and the frogs, I enjoyed every part of the show.  Some of my favorite acts included the roller skaters, Russian bars, fixed trapeze duo, and the unicycle girls.  All of the very talented performers kept me at the edge of my seat!

Cirque du Soleil never does disappoint.  This show runs through June 30th and is simply fantastic.
