Preakness Style

Earlier this week, I grabbed four fashionable bloggers and we made our way to PHL17 Studios to film a segment for the Eye Opener Morning Show.   The star bloggers were Brittiny Stewart of Fashion of Philly, Lauren Mantilla from The Style Darling, Ian Michael Crumm, and our very own intern Alexandra Robyck.   Each blogger modeled the preppy signature styles of Preakness Stakes.  If you’ve never been to the event or encountered some serious Southern style, the ladies are primped in sundresses and gentlemen don their finest pressed shirts.  Accessories are a must!  Custom hats from the finest milliners and festive bow ties are practically a part of the dress code.

The fashion segment featured Brittany in a classic pink Laundrea dress.  Laundrea is a local designer based in Media, PA.  Visit their website at http://godwinapparel.com or on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.  Lauren wore a dress from popular dress designer Alice + Olivia, available at Per Lei Boutique in Media, PA.  Connect with them on their site, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.  Alex wore a Bell by Alicia Bell dress from Posh Collections boutique in Malvern, PA.   Check out their Facebook and Instagram.  As the token dapper gentleman, Ian wore the Bedford Cord seersucker suit by Original Penguin, a ‘Blueberry Bowtie’ shirt by 611 Lifestyle, and a striped bow tie.  All are available at Metro Mens Clothing on East Passyunk Ave in South Philadelphia.

If you missed it, the segment has been brought to you!  Check out the show below.
