Last Sunday I visited a showroom in Northern Liberties that houses two Philadelphia sports clothing lines. One line is for men, Philly Phaithful, and the other line is for women, Broad Street Broad. I met the owners, Dan and Christine, at a recent event and when they told me about their showroom I had to go and see for myself!
Let me first tell you about the amazing showroom. When you walk in the first thing you notice is the huge 12-foot TV Projector that takes up the whole wall and I loved the bright orange couch. They have a kegerator, an office, sports memorabilia, and of course their clothes. They had custom made shelves designed by neighboring store Greensaw. The shelves house their product as well as Dan’s sports memorabilia. Oh and you can’t miss the famous quote on the wall from Sir Charles Barkley. The whole space is perfect for a party or just to hang out and watch a game.
The Philly Phaithful line was started five years ago out of Dan’s passion for Philadelphia sports. They have youth and adult sizes and maybe even dog clothes coming soon. The shirts logos are catchy, humorous, and all custom designed. One of the most popular shirts is the “Schmidt Happens” and I also love the “Sunday Funday” shirt. Besides the showroom and online you can find Philly Phaithful clothes at the following locations: Born Yesterday, The Monkey’s Uncle in Doylestown, Mixed Threads, Rice’s Market, and Flyers Skate Zone locations.
Christine launched Broad Street Broad at the end of 2012. She grew tired of only finding glittery pink women’s sports attire and I agree! Her line and accessories are flattering, comfortable, and cute. Hats, Bags, Koozies – They have it all! Those who know me know that I have a little obsession with sunglasses. So of course I picked up a new red pair, perfect for a Phillies game. I picked up a new shirt too! I can’t wait to go down to the stadium and tailgate with my new accessories! Now I’m truly a Broad Street Broad!
These pictures were great! I’ve been following Philly Phaithful for awhile and so glad to see the showroom is a success.
