Here at Philly PR Girl, we are celebrating our roots this month. For those of you who don’t know, Philly PR Girl started as a little blog before it grew into a full-service PR agency. So naturally, we are always excited for National Blog Posting Month, more affectionately known as #NaBloPoMo. We’ve revisited and compiled our team’s favorite blog posts to share with you!

This Week in Philly

These weekly posts are the backbone of our blog. In 2010, our owner Kate started sharing events around town on a blog to share with her friends and family. Before long, hundreds of people began to reference the series. From huge festivals to under-the-radar events, TWIP (as we affectionately know it as) aims to represent all Philly’s wonderful offerings.

Best Boozy Brunches in Philadelphia

Brunch is not just a meal; it’s a way of life that we plan our weekends around. With the help of some drool-worthy Instagrams, Juliette found the best places to booze on lazy afternoons. Our goal is to eat our way through the late-morning-menus in this city from Northern Liberties to South Philly. Then wash it all down with sparkling mimosas and spicy bloody marys along the way.

Fall in Love with These Philly Beauty Spots

As the temperatures begin to drop, you may notice that your beauty regimen needs some revamping. Sun-kissed skin and summer highlights become a bit more dry and dull. To look fabulous this season, Sam found the best local beauty spots to check out. A lot of these shops feature natural products that will keep you looking fresh until next spring!

A City-Wide Sustainability Celebration

We do not think that climate change is just some hoax. With the inaugural SustainPHL this year, it’s an exciting time to be a part of the sustainability movement in Philadelphia. In this blog post, Victoria highlights 6 easy ways to support our city and our Earth. Many small decisions and actions in our day-to-day lives can have a big impact over time if everybody signs on. For starters, consider changes in diet, transportation, and electric consumption to help limit your carbon footprint.

To all of our readers, thank you for your support! We would not be where we are without you. To all our fellow bloggers out there, Happy #NaBloPoMo!

Our blog team is always on the hunt for Philly topics that are relevant to our readers. If we haven’t covered a subject that you’d like to read about, let us know on social media or in the comments.
