5 Years of Diner en Blanc Philadelphia

Spectacular. Elegant. Stylish.

That’s how many people would describe Diner en Blanc. In its 5th year here in Philadelphia, Philly PR Girl has attended every year. We’ve experienced it only getting bigger and better with each passing year. This year had 5,000 people dressed to impress in their best white attire, making their way down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to the Art Museum for a night of fun, food, and friends. From the fashion and decor to the music and performers, it was one heck of a party.

First, let’s talk about the location. The most anticipated part is the unveiling of the secret venue minutes before the party starts. This year did not disappoint upon the iconic steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. People were running up and down the Rocky steps to the theme song, taking photos with the Rocky statue, and c’mon… that view!

  Every year we’re so  impressed  by how elaborate the table decor gets. The designs were so creative and we loved them all! @spiritoflove711 and her aunt were the winners of best table from this year. Congrats on creatively decorating outside the box; we are OBSESSED with your chandelier! We also love @all.day.namaste who took a simple, minimalistic approach that still remains chic.

  Another key part to Diner en Blanc is the fashion! Among a sea of all-white clad people, there are always some unique standouts. Our top insta pics highlight just some of that great ensembles. We are especially loving @lindseycasella’s romantic lacy dress. Even the men find some impressive outfits including blazers and accessories.

Diner en Blanc is quite the romantic event with its Parisian roots. Love was in the air  on Thursday night as people celebrated with the ones they love. These cute couples are some of our Diner en Blanc’s “Cutest Couples” on our list. Let’s not forget the engagements that happen every year… Congrats to the three couples on their even-more-magical night!

   

One of our favorite parts every year is the sparkler lighting. Once the sun sets, the whole space is illuminated with thousands of twinkling lights. Seeing the whole Parkway lit up was an unreal image.

As always, Diner en Blanc was amazing, and Philly PR Girl is proud to have been a part of it. We can’t wait for next year and the surprises in store.
