Monday, March 9

  • World Cafe Live presents Moshav, a musical performance by artists Yehuda and Duvid. After releasing their latest album, Dancing In A Dangerous World, the Israel natives will perform their musical talents of vocals, percussion, and guitar for all to see! The show starts at 8 p.m. with tickets at the low price of $15.
  • Check out an 80s-inspired spring field hockey musical on its opening night at the Adrienne Theatre. 11th Hour Theatre Company performs Field Hockey Hot, Michael Ogborn’s first world premier! Tickets range from $32-$37.

Tuesday, March 10

  • Hang out from 7 to 10 p.m. after hours at the The Franklin Institute! This week’s theme is “Survivor!”, so test your duct tape ingenuity and navigate using the stars as you avoid viral outbreaks and natural disasters. Tickets cost $15, and the event is open to those 21 and up.
  • Five historical local women’s clubs will host a forum on the preservation of women’s history at the New Century Trust on 1307 Locust Street from 3:30 p.m. – 12 a.m. Tickets are only $5 to participate in the conversation.

Wednesday, March 11

  • Test your knowledge of Irish history at Fado Irish Pub. Special games and prizes will be given away all night. Join the fun from 7 p.m. – 12 a.m. with no cover! It’s free to play and teams are welcome.
  • Reinvent yourself and your career with the Career Reinvention Works After 45. President and Chief Executive Officer of University City Science Center, Stephen Tang, will be the keynote speaker to close the night. The event takes place from 5:30 p.m.- 8 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Digital Education Studio and tickets cost $49.

Thursday, March 12

  • YB Connected is proud to host their second Network to End Hunger. at The Union League of Philadelphia from 6 – 9 p.m. Tickets cost $45 and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Philabundance.

Friday, March 13

  • G.Love & Special Sauce will be gracing the stage at the TLA with Matt Costa at 8:30 p.m. Tickets start at $31. Get ready for a night of musical talent presented to you by Live Nation.
  • The Alchemy Dance Company presents their world premier of INTERSECT – contemporary dance inspired by the Shakespearean era and the theme of Outcast. Tickets cost $25 and the performance starts at 8 p.m. at The Arts Bank on South Broad Street.

Saturday, March 14

  • Enjoy a special performance by the Quartet du Jour of the Philadelphia Orchestra accompanied by a one-time-only brunch menu; created by La Peg’s executive chef Peter Woolsey and inspired by Debussy’s score. Showtime starts at 12 p.m. and the ticket price includes the food pairing.
  • The 31st Annual Kidney Ball will take place at Vie from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. The National Kidney Foundation will unite patients, physicians, and community leaders in the fight against kidney disease once again.
  • Philly’s favorite high energy instructors, Bret and Kristy of Ride Cycling Studio, will be hosting three 45-minute spin sessions to help bring awareness to Philadelphia Chromosome Positive Adult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph+ ALL) at WERK IT 4 WENDI. Tickets range from $25-35; if you can’t make it, donations are always welcome!

Sunday, March 15

  • Local Latin artists Magdaliz and her Latin Ensemble Crisol will be performing a few sets for the public from 12 – 2 p.m. as part of Reading Terminal Free 2015 Concert Series. Enjoy romantic Puerto Rican Boleros, energetic Mexican mariachi music, fiesty Cuban Sones, and more!
  • The Academy of Music is hosting the Pennsylvania Ballet’s Swan Lake March 5th through the 15th. Enjoy an afternoon of this world-renowned ballet previously performed for sold-out audiences. Tickets range from $20-$100.
