Monday, June 30th

  • 5th annual Mashable Social Media Day – Social Media is something we use EVERYDAY, so why not celebrate it? This FREE event at Benjamin’s Desk includes a panel discussions, networking and a chance to collaborate with other Philadelphia social media enthusiasts! The event is from 6pm to 8:30pm.  See you there!

Tuesday, July 1st

  • Go 4th & Learn – Come celebrate a day of fun and learning! This FREE, interactive series of events offers educational fun for the whole family during Wawa Welcome America. Today get a hands-on lesson about the history of dairy from Wawa at Franklin Square from 12pm-1pm! Get there early because the first 200 children will receive a free book.
  • Brand New Exhibition: Frank Gehry’s Master Plan for the Philadelphia Museum of Art – Come get a SNEAK PEEK of the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s major renewal and expansion by architect Frank Gehry. The exhibition will showcase Gehry’s vision for transforming the interior of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This event is FREE with museum admission.
  • Philly @ The Movies  Enjoy a night under the stars and a great movie during Philly @ The Movies. Enjoy a FREE, outdoor screenings of cinematic classics at well known locations all over the city. 
  • Drinkers West and Penn Brewery are throwing a huge bash for the World Cup game.  Doors open at 3pm and there is a “most patriotic costume” contest!
  • USA v Belgium Viewing Party at Crabby Cafe & Sports Bar at the Piazza!   The Piazza was the place to be during the last USA game!  Doors open at Noon!

Wednesday, July 2nd

  • All-American Celebration on the Mall – Join the National Constitution Center for patriotic festivities surrounding Independence Day, including the interactive Independence Day show, exploring the history of the Declaration of Independence and how the definition of “We the People” has changed. There will be colonial-era arts and crafts offered and you are welcome to stop by the Revolutionary War encampment on the museum’s front lawn.  The event is FREE with admission!   • Wawa Hoagie Day at the National Constitution Center– Wawa is offering education on Life, Liberty, & the Pursuit of Deliciousness! At Wawa Hoagie Day five tons of hoagies will be assembled at the National Constitution Center and served free to thousands of people outside the Independence Visitor Center on Independence Mall. The event is FREE to all visitors!
  • Philadelphia Orchestra Neighborhood Concert The Philadelphia Orchestra presents a FREE Neighborhood Concert from 8-9pm on the RiverStage at the Great Plaza at Penns Landing. The concert is FREE and will followed by a small fireworks show!

Thursday, July 3rd

  • The City at The Piazza at Schmidts – The Roots will be warming up in Northern Liberties with a full day of FREE music. The diverse lineup of music includes GoGo Morrow, Cody Wise and Modern Inventors, and runway shows between acts show off the apparel and accessories of national designers. After the show in Northern Liberties, music lovers can head to the TLA on South Street for the ticketed Brothers in Arms, starring Questlove and D’Angelo starting at 10:30 p.m.
  • Pinot Boutique Sunset Wine Cruises– Pinot Boutiques Wines of the Revolution will be setting sail at 7pm until 9pm.This wine-tasting history lesson invites you to learn about the wines enjoyed by our Founding Fathers.  Set sail for an adventure you’ll never forget!   • POPS on Independence– Peter Nero and the Philly Pops! return to celebrate America’s birthday in America’s birthplace with ,a free concert at Independence Hall. As one of Philadelphia’s most popular Fourth of July traditions, seating is first come, first served. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a night of music and fun.

Friday, July 4th – Happy 4th of July Philadelphia! 

  • Independence Day Parade – Celebrate Independence day with the old-time Fourth of July parade featuring floats, marching bands, military groups and more winding through Historic Philadelphia. The parade runs from 11-12pm.
  • Party on the Parkway – Celebrate America’s Birthday in America’s Birthplace: Philadelphia! The Benjamin Franklin Parkway hosts the “Largest Free Concert” in the country on July 4th with great food, fun and entertainment all day long. It all leads up to the incredible Fourth of July Jam and Grand Finale Fireworks at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. You don’t wanna miss this!

Saturday , July 5th

  • Yards’ Country and ‘Cue Celebration – Celebrate post-4th depression and continue your weekend with craft brewers Yards. A $40 ticket gets all attendees three Yards ales, three food truck vouchers, a free brewery tour and tons of live music. The event runs from 4-10pm.
  • On the Run Tour: Beyoncé and JAY Z – Citizens Bank Park –  Beyonce and JAY Z are crazy in love and bringing it to Citizens Bank Park! Come enjoy live music and what is sure to be a great show! The show starts at 8pm and you don’t wanna miss it!

Sunday , July 6th

  • Camden Waterfront Freedom Festival– Come finish the weekend off across the river!  During this family friendly event you can visit the historic Battleship New Jersey and see the country’s largest alligator, Mighty Mike, at Adventure Aquarium. There also will be giveaways, military vehicles, brass band concerts, kids activities, barbecue and more. Don’t forget to stay for  Adventure Aquarium Waterfront Fireworks Spectacular over the Delaware River (starts at approx. 9 p.m.).
