Job Overview

We are seeking a PR Associate to join our team and support media relations, event coordination, and brand storytelling. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for public relations, media outreach, and client success. This role is essential in helping our clients gain visibility, build relationships with the media, and enhance their reputation.

Key Responsibilities

Media Relations & Outreach

• Develop and execute PR strategies to secure media coverage for clients.
• Draft press releases, media pitches, and editorial content.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
• Monitor and report on media coverage, tracking key performance metrics.

Event Coordination & Brand Promotion

• Assist in planning and executing press events, launch parties, and brand activations.
• Coordinate interviews, press briefings, and media opportunities for clients.
• Represent clients at networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings.

Client & Team Collaboration

• Serve as a direct point of contact for client accounts, providing updates and recommendations.
• Work with the creative and marketing teams to align PR efforts with broader brand strategies.
• Support senior team members in developing long-term public relations plans.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in public relations, preferably in an agency setting.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of media relations, press outreach, and brand storytelling.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience crafting press materials.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of PR tools such as Cision, Muck Rack, or Meltwater is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships.
• Event planning or brand activation experience.
• Familiarity with social media strategy and digital PR.

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Midtown Village area, Center City)

Key Responsibilities:

• Media Relations: Generate media coverage for clients, with a focus on the Philadelphia market.
• Writing: Draft press releases, media alerts, and pitches.
• Account Management: Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Event Planning ): Help with planning and executing client events.
• Social Media: Experience with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok is a plus.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 1+ year of public relations experience, specifically in the Philadelphia area.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

Internship Responsibilities:

• Support PR Coordinators and Managers in executing client projects.
• Assist with media outreach, including drafting press releases and media lists.
• Help plan and promote events, brand activations, and press opportunities.
• Monitor and track media coverage and compile reports for clients.

Qualifications:
